Okay after watching NG video and then trying to check google earth , I feel nitin just used diplomatic words looks more like MEA side view rather than Armed forces view , Lets look at below few things

3D view from the Ridge line close to Blacktop but on LAC, We can see PLA base near spanguur lake is on clear sight from this point , But this point is 200 metres on the other side of LAC , If IA is exactly on LAC i don't think they can get such clear view of PLA Base . Also marked is Rinch la Ridge

Now in this below pic one can see LAC as of now runs through ridge line very close to where black top is but only issue is black top is higher peak than where current position IA holding on ridge line is marked in Orange from there they can't have a view of spanguur lake base

So technically the only place from where IA can have watch of Spangur Lake base is from the point marked in blue which is on LAC and gives a view of the lake . Without crossing LAC this is the only place where IA can watch the lake and chinese base .
