If Bhutan is touched IA will respond. India has the sole duty of protecting Bhutan. Correct me if I am wrong?
Yes, we definitely have some sort of deal with them. To the point where they're essentially a protectorate. But if things are already that advanced then why not complete the formality for optimal security setup + direct administration.

Seems like a fight yesterday midnight:
Obviously... Exactly as I predicted yesterday that they'd try on 31st latenight.
I'm actually surprised they've not tried any counter-intrusion movements elsewhere along the LAC.

India must not move back from gained ground at any cost or they'll move back in after sometime, like they did in Doklam.

:hmm: what happens now ?

Can they use drones + precision guided bombs to dislodge our troops ?

I think they been battle testing their drones in Yemen and Syria .

Its low risk , even if we shoot a drone down , wont be much of a loss for them .

Can someone knowledgeable comment on it ?
Once any birds are involved in combat, its gloves off for both sides in my opinion.

When these journos say “dissuaded by the Indian defence forces” or “timely defensive action” surely these are euphemisms for the IA shooting at the PLA and knocking the bastards off and back.

It appears these journos are using wording relayed to them by their IA/GOI sources.

I say this because from all current accounts it appears both sides are in open but limited conflict unlike the jostling and hand holding phase as shown in videos circulating of a more ‘friendly‘ time when encounters were documented for us.

To all our Internet warriors, who are combating Pakistan trolls, If Pakistan members talk about Galwan Valley, tell them that we had spine and kicked the PLA and killed many of them, we also need to remind Pakistan that what Pakistan did after salala attack by americans on their out post or three hundred drone strikes, I feel we are not countering Pakistan trolls with appropriate responses, who are having a field day regarding any news item on Galwan Valley

Moderators please allow this post even though it may be off topic.

UAV/UCAVs should not be a problem for us. They are very easy to shoot down with even primitive SAMs because they don't have any countermeasures and they fly very slow.

Heck, due to high-altitude of Himalayan environment, if you position MANPADs at hilltops (like we captured yesterday, ~ 5000m AMSL), even MALE UAVs get into the range of modern MANPADS.

But as long as our air force is around, we won't require anything like that.
Bro... a large number of drones would make AF vulnerable and busy, Mind it these can actually draw in IAF to Chinese ManPads and SAMs as well. @abingdonboy @Hellfire what's your take on this ???
