Parrikar takes a dig at A.K Antony at the ceremony of undocking Scorpene submarine.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar speaking to media at the undocking ceremony of first Scorpene submarine said that Previous Defence Minister ( A. K. Antony) never reviewed Scorpene submarine project regularly due to which project was running behind schedule by 4 years .
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar after taking in charge as been reviewing the project on a monthly basis and is determined that all submarines under construction under Project-75 are delivered to the Indian navy by the end of 2018.
A. K. Antony, when questioned about claims made by Parrikar about No proper review, done by him for Scorpene submarine project, just refused to comment.
This could be second time Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar had taken a dig at A. K. Antony, In the previous instance, he had told media that " Some Individuals to maintain their Clean image refused to take a crucial decision which has lead to a mess in defence sector ". Parrikar is reviewing all the demands put forward by Armed forces which were in principle approved by previous Defence Minister. Armed forces have been told to come up with a list which they consider a priority.
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar recently also took dig at Armed forces for coming up with Ridiculous General Staff Qualitative Requirement (GSQR) for indigenous weapons systems which he said seems right out of " Marvel comic Movies ", clearly hinting that Technologies requested in Indigenous weapons systems sometimes purely is absurd and not realistic in nature . He also has told DRDO not to entertain any last minute changes in GSQR henceforward
