My mom's side of the family also has their own puja and it is conducted in a school in Ballygunge. Had the pleasure to be a part of it just once some 5 years back. Home pujas feel so great. Don't know when will I make it next !


I have visited Adyaapith, College Square and Mohd. Ali Park. They always live up to the expectations of having the best of the pandals.

how much does each community splurge on the pandals.

A lot of money is splurged on the pandals. And its all from contribution.

How many brawls occur during this festival??

Why are you only interested in knowing about brawls ? If that's the only interesting part for you in a festival, then I have to say, GET A LIFE !

As a matter of fact, very few brawls take place, nowadays, and none happen in the pandals, it only happens during visarjan day when thousands throng to river for immersion ceremony.
