Asmi is machine pistol itself and by the time these were bought asmi wasn't ready and they didn't want anything to do with minsas rounds just made a fool of drdo by making them go round and round for jvpc and the new machine pistol contract might go to mp9 or asmi people are smart enough to know which side has heavy weigtaige

ideally india should hv minimum:-
1:- 20 awacs.
2:- 10 refueler aircraft.
3:- 4-6 ISTAR.
4:- 4-6 jamming nd EW aircraft.
5:- 40-50 squads of aircraft.
IAF is lacking in many areas. it should be given biggest chunk of capital budget. 40:30:30 is ideal choice for three services. coz only IAF can take part on all three services. it hv important role in army nd navy also.

They completely switch to SPA/SPH as their primary artillery. They have very limited Field artillery compared to the former.

On the other hand we have approx 3k field artillery vs 140 SPH/SPA. Even though all PLA will not throw all SPH on us. But still for their Western Command numbers will be still higher than what we have. Our IA generals should take strong decision.
