They have added 155mm artillery in 2025 positive list so is it confirmed Athos being ordered in huge nos

They have added mounted gun system 155 x 52 for 2025, not the towed ones. ATAGS are towed artillery. Towed arty are already first the pro indigenous, whose deadline was December 2021.

By now I think we should consider it as jinxed project and quickly move on. May be order a few units to cover the R&D expenses.

The technologies developed can be handed over to Indian player who is willing to take the risk and earn some royalty atleast. Decade and counting..... Sane organisation would have developed decent manned fighter by now.

Read that item again, it mentions Mounted Artillery Gun System, which means a Truck mounted system, Athos 2052 falls into towed artillery category.
Both are different and no, Athos 2052 will not be imported, come what may.

Why are 68mm rockets in positive list? Dont we already manufacture them here at OFB, both AP and HE variants. Instead we should standardise and indigenize either 70mm or 80mm rockets for Helos as they are the ones currently being mass used. We are just not gonna throw all their launchers away and put a new 68mm rocket launchers on them?
