You bet. Has been worse for me as I am not in bangalore for the last couple of weeks and making do with a crappy GPRS service.Withdrawl symptoms can be terrible. I guess that's what I thought I was experiencing.
How come ? even if we are closed they will send request and it uses our bandwidth it wont help as far as i know the best thing is we use some cloud servers that will expand or shrink as the time demands or use router with good QOS script also Nginx is best we need to simply ignore paki fools lets add them to use only limited bandwidth a small perl script can do that easily.Maybe we are being too nice if this keeps up I propose extreme measures like temporarily converting the site to
a closed forum -a members only access forum.

QoS, Nginx as reverse proxy (and loads of other measures) have been active since last year These attacks are massive.QOS script also Nginx is best we need to simply ignore paki fools lets add them to use only limited bandwidth a small perl script can do that easily.
They are 32000 IPSs? DDoS uses a few hundred IPs with hundreds of hits per. I have to ban the highest IP hit offenders in order to get rid of it.I cannot explain in detail but 32000 IPs are attacking DFI as we are speaking.
I hate captcha so much. But if it would work to keep DFI free of attacks, bring it on.32881 users online. 59 members and 32822 at 10.05PM!!!
will captcha prevent DDOS? so that bots cant visit the site....
Since, they are in US(and it seems their sites are also registered in US), can't there be any legal action? I think they are emboldened because they think they can get away with it.There is a rat sitting in Indianapolis.
You are right, we should take legal action. If it is originating from US, then surely it will be lot easier to prosecute them than if it was from India.Since, they are in US(and it seems their sites are also registered in US), can't there be any legal action? I think they are emboldened because they think they can get away with it.
It seems paki def forum dot com was also down for many days. Is there a link between their site being down and DFI being down? Maybe the perpetrator in both cases is deaf&dumb forum(along with their proxy Indian forum) and their owners...
This is pure Kevlar no plates..somebody post this in correct forum
Is it building upto another attack?????There are currently 26713 users online. 59 members and 26654 guests
