Is there any drawback/limitation in implementing i-star / maritime / awacs role on propeller plane like c295 ??

We should've ordered at least 150 of these as our future work horses.

System like these are very effective in urban combat scenario. As of now, we are not planning to engage in any such war. Anyway we have adhoc system similar to this.

Why does the barrel has a fume extractor ? . My unmanned turret hope is collapsing. And why not 2 crew instead of 3. Weight is a premium right ?

Unmanned turret comprises of 3 crew.

Ya'll Nibbiars The Zorawar Light Tank has 125 MM smooth bore Gun with Auto Loder. The RFI metioned a Auto loaded for a 125 MMs. And I wouldn't be suprised in the end this Tank weights 40 Tons. It's not a Light Tank. It's a Mountain Tank.

In that case the IA will cite strategic mobility concerns and order the sprut. I’d be surprised if it’s more than 33-35T considering they pegged the FICV at ~25T and they wanted the Arjun to weigh less than 55 somehow

Significant design changes. This is one of the projects I absolutely need to see make progress but it doesn’t seem like they’ve gone anywhere in the last 5 years and are just sat waiting for CCS sanction. I remember HAL’s chief pilot saying at the last Aero india that he’d be flying the IMRH prototype at the next one, well we will be lucky if that’s possible even in 2028 at this rate

Billa, are you sure it’s 125mm? Turret looks exactly like the John Cockerill 3105 Turret with a 105mm gun. Can you give the sauce for the 125mm being asked for?

I was wondering something..... Since AMCA in large quantities will be an expensive buy, would it not make sense to pump that MRFA money into TEDBF and have a twin-engine IAF fight AS WELL AS the Tejas Mk1A & Mk2?

This would effectively make our entire air power indigenous in the next 10-12 years.

Already doing it.
But inspite of all this, MRFA is a requirement.
