IAF turned old R73 CCM Missile into SAM System named SAMAR. EO sites will acquire the target . Range Probably 20-25 Km . I believe this will give some surprises in the mountains region . It can hide and shoot down Helicopters , Drones ,UAVs and possibly aircrafts.

This looks like Underwater applications if you look closely it is written that IR Se , some kind of IR suppression system component for Underwater Vehicles .

I wonder where the EO-PODs will be mounted in the 2022 version? In the original one they used some crude/cheap ones mounted on the launcher only.

Its a jerry rigged up system, short range IR guided A2A missiles strapped to a ground vehicle - Literally, the launch rails are aircraft pylons screwed on to the launch arm. AFAIK its a way of utilising old stockpile that we have, which is outdated for A2A but fine for hunting slower targets.

The colour scheme on whap is weird

Why don't india Paint the armoured vehicles in just 1 color like sand, green or white? Y do they use disruptive camo with four different colors .it looks old and ugly. Am not sure if it's even effective.
