this is the best attempt at non line of sight, you can see the periscope mirrors and the solider is taking aim and read to pull the trigger with rope. :emot112:

All's well but sometimes i do think how far does these accessories reduce the reflexes of a soldier,,which is important!!
i would say that if they save life of soldier and take out your enemy, then it is good system. Plus the soldier should trained in use of both the non line of sight and the line of sight shooting yeah you are right quick reflex action should be his first nature that is important too but now time is changing and so is the warfare.

enemy is no longer visible and fights are not longer straight at given time. Those who got technology, manpower and more money will win the war.

That's rightly said and i think that DRDO must start looking at development of an Indian cornershot, cause even Pakistan has that named POF Eye (Although its copied but still).Such a development will mean that it will be acquired by the NSG and other special forces at a cheaper rate cause these weapons are supposed to be very costly and also the it's life is not too long. Thus we need not look upto Israel everytime for counter terrorism gadgets.

Logan, even US has not made copy of corner shot, it is only the Pakistan, iran and China who has made illegal copy of the corner shot.

you see we can if we decide to make corner shot today by tomorrow we will make it. it is not that difficult to make, problem is intellectual property right of the product which is own by israel.

if we start doing that then Israel will not sell its hight tech equipment like the AWAC and other things.

we need to make our own system and continue R&D. if things go right we will have good system in a year time. People are working to make sure our guys get these system. This is from very credible source.

@logan, you see the FINSAS is complete system, but the non line is sight will give some sort of not line of fire capability and some data transfer capabilities for urban combat.

FINSAS is completely different program, with top $$ and tech. Plus it will take two or three years when first of the system will be introduce and it will take another 10 years or so only them all the soldiers will get equipped with the system.

That is why the idea of pre FINSAS kit to be put on INSAS and AKs.
