In the following video (at the website), Gordon Chang explains how the driving engine behind Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) technological advancement is intellectual property (IP) theft, and how most Chinese students, workers and travelers in other countries are agents of the CCP sent for the explicit purpose of IP theft; this IP theft is also done through hacking by CCP's internet hacker army. IP theft is a massive operation with millions of CCP sponsored thieves pushed into other countries by CCP; or hacking companies' networks to steal IP. Chinese students, workers and travelers in other countries have to do what the CCP says; otherwise their families in China would be imprisoned. Of course the Chinese are already too brainwashed by the CCP, and always follow CCP instructions for IP theft. The Confucius institutes and other Chinese student organizations in western universities are also used to keep these Chinese students in compliance of the CCP.
Gordon Chang: Communist China Has Committed ‘Mass Murder’ of Americans
Last year, Congressman Eric Swalwell’s ties to the suspected Chinese spy Fang Fang brought Chinese espionage to the forefront of national discussion. But that was just the tip of the iceberg.

And beyond espionage, the Chinese Communist Party has become increasingly belligerent globally—from fueling riots in America to encroaching in Nepali territory to celebrating COVID-19 deaths in India. What is the Chinese leadership hoping to achieve, and why do they believe—according to Chang—that they are running out of time?

Furthermore, one year on, over 3 million people have died globally from COVID-19. Beyond covering up the initial outbreak, did China’s communist leaders intentionally spread this virus beyond its borders? And if it did, what does that mean for America and the world?

In this episode, we sit down with China analyst Gordon Chang to understand the full scope of Chinese communist subversion.
Why does Gordon G. Chang continue to be treated as an authority on China in the US, even though he has wrongly predicted China's collapse since 2001?

LOL

I went through all the interviews, books, tweets and open speeches of Gordon Chang, I get the feeling like he is working for CCP to spread misinformation on China, misleading and messing with American approach towards China.

The USA political ecosystem does not welcome anyone with a seemingly pro-ccp perspective, in order to break into the minds and brains of USA, you will have no choice than to paint yourself as a firm CCP opposer and stand with USA in every single matter.

It does not matter how ridiculous you make yourself sound when opposing CCP and bashing China, the thing is you need to bash for the sake of bashing, identity politics is all about where you stand rather than what you stand for.

Gordon Chang’s points are completely pointless, his logic is bizarre and insane, anyone who has been to a proper university education should easily see how wrong his points are. For example his recent posts on China’s collapse, again:

I’m not very famillar with him but I searched a similar answer on the Chinese version of Quora (Zhihu), and I found the answers to be pretty funny that I would like to translate part of them just for the purpose of sharing.

“What is your opinion on Gordon Chang?”

Answer from “Xiluzhanwoyi”writes,

“The magnum opus of Mr. Gordon Chang - ‘The Coming Collapse of China’, was a great masterpiece, it has profound realism and historical meaning, and has been seen by many western experts as ‘The Book’ of studying China, it really deserves its name. Since the book was published in 2001, China has collapsed all the way from the 6th place to the 2nd place, and will continue to collapse as per Mr. Chang’s perdiction, until it finally reaches the No.1 superpower.”

-“Although some people in the west has realised that he is a ‘fraud’, he has largely successfully fooled the west to take no serious about China. The period from 2001 to now was a period of great strategic importance, and thanks to his work, China has gained an incredible opportunity to develop sliently behind the scene, he is a master of fooling, a warrior in disguise, and a great hero to our country.”

“As a great Chinese decendent and a warrior working abroad, he has done incredible things for our country, when comrade Chang finishes his job and returns home, I suggest a big gold medal being issued to him!”

An anonymous answer writes,“Hey, stop it, dudes! If you make comrade Chang expose his identity, you guys will suck.”

Damn, I watched Gordon Chang on CNN a few times but I never realised that he is a Chinese decendent (half Chinese). Now that I know it, I immediately ask myself, can we really rule out the possibility that he is actually working for China? :p

The fact that the CCP has committed so much time and energy all over the internet in targeting Gordan Chang increases my trust in Gordan Chang a thousand times over.

As already explained, Quora is not reliable as it's not vetted and usually contains massive amounts of CCP propaganda.

Character assassination is the typical Chinese Communist Party (CCP) response to anyone revealing the truth about the CCP; i.e. shoot the messenger. This is what the CCP did when one of their own virologists, Dr. Li Meng Yan, escaped China and disclosed how CCP had created the CCP virus in the Wuhan lab as a bioweapon and attacked other countries with it by using Chinese travelers as carriers:

“Covid-19 virus is from China and it was intentionally leaked by China’s CCP” says Chinese virologist
A new study published by British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen says that the novel Coronavirus was created by Chinese scientists in a lab and then reverse-engineered to give the impression that it evolved naturally from bats.
Dr Li-Meng Yan a Chinese Virologist has yet again on record declared that the Covid-19 virus indeed emerged from China and was intentionally leaked by the Chinese Communist Party as a ‘bio-weapon’. In an exclusive interview to the News18 on the USA’s attempt to “redouble” their efforts in investigating the emergence of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese Virologist expressed her support for the investigations.

#EXCLUSIVE | Dr Li-Meng Yan, Chinese Virologist says, “This #COVID19 virus is from China & it was intentionally leaked by China’s CCP.”

Listen in to what more she had to say.

Agreeing to provide scientific evidence and intelligence, the virologist said that a visit to Wuhan will also strengthen the investigations as a lot of secrets have been suppressed and destroyed by the Chinese government. She also urged the investigating teams to visit the labs in Hong Kong and Beijing.

Talking about holding China accountable for the misdeed, Dr Li-Meng Yan revealed that the lab leak was not accidental but let out on purpose to do a small trial on the community which went out of control. What could have been contained locally, was let out across the globe intentionally by the Chinese government, informed the virologist.

Dr Li-Meng Yan while talking about holding China responsible for the pandemic informed that China suppressed vital information and misled the world for months leading to a global pandemic. The country still continues to spread misinformation to hide its misdeeds concluded the Chinese virologist.

Ending the interaction, Dr Yan informed that China is now bullying nations to buy its cheap vaccines.

Novel Coronavirus was created in a Chinese lab

A new study published by British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen says that the novel Coronavirus was created by Chinese scientists in a lab and then reverse-engineered to give the impression that it evolved naturally from bats.

The authors of the paper said that they have had evidence of reverse-engineering for a year but were ignored by major journals and other academics.

In line with what Dr Yan revealed, Sørensen, a virologist and a chair at Immunor, a pharmaceutical company also informed that the Chinese government in fact indulged in ‘deliberate destruction, concealment or contamination of data’.

Most scientists in China who spoke out about the bio-weapon have been silenced or disappeared said the report.

Joe Biden asks to ‘double’ the efforts

US President Joe Biden has ordered the US intelligence agencies to “redouble” their investigative efforts to trace the emergence of the fatal Covid-19 pandemic and furbish a report in 90 days. This comes amid the growing controversy about the virus leak from the Wuhan lab being deliberate.

Biden said in a statement on Wednesday said, “I have now asked the Intelligence Community to redouble their efforts to collect and analyze information that could bring us closer to a definitive conclusion, and to report back to me in 90 days.”

“I have also asked that this effort include work by our National Labs and other agencies of our government to augment the Intelligence Community’s efforts. And I have asked the Intelligence Community to keep Congress fully apprised of its work,” he added.

China to send three astronauts this month

China on Monday announced plans to send three male astronauts to its space station this month for a three-month stay, a day after the successful docking of a cargo spacecraft with it, hoping to achieve yet another milestone in its ambitious space programme.

The country launched cargo spacecraft Tianzhou-2 on Saturday, carrying supplies, equipment and propellant which had successfully docked with the space station core module Tianhe, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).

Combined with Tianhe, Tianzhou-2 will replenish Tianhe’s propellant, it said.

China, which launched its space station core module Tianhe on April 29, now plans to complete the verification of key technologies and the in-orbit construction of the space station through multiple launches within two years, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Yang Liwei, director of the China Manned Space Engineering Office and the country’s first astronaut, said that the three astronauts are getting ready to travel by manned spacecraft Shenzhou-12 in June to dock with Tianhe and stay there for three months.

Yang, who went into space in the Shenzhou-5 craft on October 15, 2003, told the state-run China Central Television (CCTV) during the weekend that the three astronauts of the Shenzhou-12 mission will stay in space for three months, during which they will conduct tasks, including repair and maintenance, appliance switch and scientific tasks.

The three astronauts, who will take the Shenzhou-12 spacecraft to the space station core cabin in June, are now under Level-2 quarantine, with all related work having entered a final sprint stage, according to a report by the state-run Global Times.

Although there will not be any female astronaut in the upcoming Shenzhou-12 crewed mission, they will basically participate in every following flight mission, Yang said.

The three astronauts will take on command and engineering roles, he said.

With the successful launch of the Tianzhou-2 cargo ship, China has completed its first two launch missions out of the total 11 of the intensive space station construction phase, scheduled from April 29, 2021 to 2022.

Three will be for modules, four for cargo spaceships and four for manned spaceships, the report said.

Four flight crews have been selected from the first and second batch of astronauts for the four Shenzhou missions. Astronauts will conduct multiple tasks outside the cabin, carrying out repair and maintenance on the spacecraft, and other construction missions, Yang said.

“Astronauts coming out of the cabin will become a new routine, and the duration of such activities will be greatly expanded,” he said.

China’s space station has also been equipped with the robotic arm over which the U.S. has raised concerns for its possible military applications.

The arm can be stretched to 15 meters long, which will also play a vital role in building the space station in orbit, Zhou Jianping, chief designer of China’s manned space engineering project, said previously.

Astronauts will team up with the robotic arm to make in-orbit space station construction and maintenance possible, Yang noted.

China in the past has launched several scavenger satellites fitted with robotic arms to gather and steer space debris so it burns up in the Earth’s atmosphere.

James Dickinson, commander of the U.S. Space Command, told a congressional hearing last month that the technology “could be used in a future system for grappling other satellites” and was therefore a concern to the U.S. military, the Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post reported.

From quora.

I have been informed by students at Beijing University that they attended Gordon G. Chang’s classes, (summer-2018) and he had become the object of mockery on campus. He was described as a professor who never stops talking and a poor listener, one who jumps to conclusions before another person responds to his questions.

You may have met a certain type of person, who holds an opinion on everything and arrogantly assumes that everyone who listens to his arguments agrees with him. Apparently, Professor Chang has just that type of personality. Hence, this would explain his stubborn political stances and 100% inaccurate predictions.

He had written articles claiming that his students were sitting spellbound to listen to his pro-democracy lectures on campus; when in fact the best and brightest students in the nation have been well-trained to demonstrate good manners and hold their tongues when meeting foreign-born professors.

I can verify such attitudes. A few years ago, I was invited by Xiamen University School of Journalism to give a week-long seminar in the summer about writing commentaries. I required my students to express their true opinions and I would get them thinking outside the box by engaging in direct dialogue and would argue with them in order to strengthen their arguments as they composed their commentaries.

I had taken on a hands-on approach to teach them with a step-by-step process, so they had no choice but to voice their real opinions. After completing the seminar, I would chat with students and asked them about other lecturers. They said, “the other lecturers were boring, because you show up and the professor just talks and you leave without an opportunity to speak your mind.”

For-the-record, I did not have a PhD degree and never identified myself as a professor at Xiamen University, but still I enjoyed meeting the students. It seems, Chang was the boring type of lecturer who only loved to listen to himself talk.

I would not describe such behavior as a symptom of a serious mental illness and his delusions are not a psychosis, simply a construct of narcissism - an ailment that many elites from Wall Street, Hollywood, Ivy League schools and the Washington Beltway struggle with.

The narcissism is more of an act. It’s like when you meet a wealthy person pretending to be a snob when they are among their peers. They might not be that way in real life, but people by nature tend to follow the herd instinct.

Accordingly, we will never know the real mind of Gordon G. Chang and it’s possible, he could be writing anti-China diatribes to embarrass Washington Beltway Establishment thinking. He’s so wrong that it’s unbelievable any real expert could take his ideas seriously.

Here’s one of his latest delusional writings posted by the Daily Beast. The link is here:

https://www.thedailybeast.com/its-t...ing-and-start-disengaging-from-chinas-economy

As reported by the Daily Beast:

“Xi Jinping, the Chinese ruler, is in no position to negotiate in good faith with the U.S., in large part due to Communist Party politics. Trump, therefore, has to either abandon his ambitious trade goals or push Beijing to the edge of the cliff.

U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin met Xi on Friday and the talks head for Washington next week.”

I stand corrected, Chang really is a mad man. Last week, US President Donald J. Trump signed the US-China “Phase One” trade agreement with the Chinese delegation at the White House. Apparently, President Trump also knows it’s a foolish idea to take consultations from Gordon G. Chang.
