I really admire the way they have gone about standardizing their small arms rather than have a zoo of them the way our folks have. Same unit operating everything from AR-15 type rifles to AKs, to INSAS and what nots.

India really need to rethink its approach towards buying weapons.

This force was set up in 2007 to ensure the safety of the Beijing Olympics. In fact, there is no actual combat experience. It was transferred to Guangzhou in 2014.
The special forces with actual combat experience in China are some armed police in Xinjiang. They have participated in the encirclement and suppression of terrorists in southern Xinjiang and are better equipped.
