Philosophically what gives some countries the right to nukes but others not?

Israel has nukes and the P5 powers just accept it. Is it because they are white? Doesn't seem all that different from Iran or Saudi Arabia getting it otherwise.

The West wasn't all that accepting of India getting nukes either with all kinds of embargos so why should an Indian begrudge another country from the third world getting it? Just asking.

Type 054A has gotten a lot of attention especially from the Middle East after exports to Pakistan.

This is the new export version shown at the IDEAS2022 defense show in Pakistan:

USSR did the same thing in it's economic war with the USA. Sold weapon systems to gov'ts of nations that had no money and real wealth. How many of those nations became wealthy doing business with the Soviets?
Takes lots of maintenance to keep those machines going. Many nations have neither the skills, wealth, time or inclination to do so.
In a few year the machines are junk.
Nations with the skills and wealth have equipment that is 60+ years old still working.

Go watch Macross/Robotech. The big Zentraedi were the big know nothing soldiers of the puppet masters golem makers in Tirol (Tyrol Austia/Switzerland). The Zentraedi were given new equipment by the puppet masters but just used and ruined it. Look at how some corporations, people and armies just keep getting new stuff while productive people must try to run a profit and maintain what they have.

WOW! TFX is designed to use two heavy engines but the F110 is embargoed. So it is possible that the WS-10 could be a candidate especially with supplies from Russia being less stable now because of Ukraine.

I don't think exporting the WS-15 is realistic but interesting.

I think TFX as envisioned is too small for WS15 anyway.

A more feasible replacement for F110 from the Chinese turbofan roster would be WS10B as seen on the Export J10CE sold to the Pakistan AirForce

Different variants as seen on PLAAF J10C, J16, J11B, now J15. Variants have been produced in the thousands and new lines have been set up for the newest variants.

The WS10B manufacturing base seems to already be configured for export support.

WS-15 would fit in anything that can handke the WS-10 no? The J-20 will go from the WS-10 to WS-15.

But most likely it would be a WS-10, yes.

You have a point. The FD2000 supply and tech transfer tender being imploded by US intervention showed that Turkeys NATO membership is a stumbling block WRT military acquisitions from China or Russia(F35 membership revoked and parts manufacturing contracts cancelled because of S400 delivery to Turkish Airforces)

True. But the F110 is embargoed anyways then Turkey has nothing to lose. Then again maybe it just a way to force the US to release the engine.

Interesting article on the JF-17 and its exporting potential.

A jet built by China and Pakistan may soon be the most widely operated combat aircraft in the world

In early November, three JF-17 fighters of the Pakistani Air Force conducted aerial demonstrations at the Bahrain International Air Show.

At the same time, China was showcasing the JF-17 at the annual China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in Zuhai, China.

The events were the latest attempts by China and Pakistan to market their jointly developed fourth-generation fighter jet to international customers.

The JF-17 is only in service with three countries — Pakistan, Myanmar, and Nigeria — which operated a total of 145 as of October 2021, according to Aviation Week.
