I am getting 2nd thoughts but geo-politically now chacha's non-alignment is still relevant with the conditions were in. West is not reliable & chin also want India in the same little doggy status that west wants.

Chini's behavior trend is much aggressive and besting West at installing puppet oligarch in other countries. This will keep growing in this decade and going ahead(both camps are equally bad). Currently I think we should keep head down pretending to be in western camp and do huge summersault later. Chinis respect power, they may be more amicable when India grow an big enough stick. Hope MEA is not as impotent as I think it is.

Russian ambition is similar to ours, they do not intend to become a global police force, but need a total dominion on their neighbors as buffer states (like USSR), Indian ambition is an Indianized subcontinent (religious affiliations not withstanding). Contrary to both US and Chinese ambitions of cultural and economic hegemony over the entire planet.

That may not be entirely true. Rusi's have their ways to keep leverage and use it in India. With economy of size of Italy that leverage is getting smaller and smaller over time. The huge russian defence inventory & obsession's to buy it when indian products r available is small evidence of it.
