Second and most importantly, these international media companies are reporting several times each day in the last 1 year America's embarassing fight with Covid-19, being the No. in deaths Worldwide despite its resources? NBC, ABC, CBS, CNBC, FOX, they're all reporting each new segment US' Covid-19 deaths, civil disturbances, economic hardships, etc. etc.
I'll try to explain for the last time.
1. We aren't mad about covid number reporting.
2. We aren't mad if they report any mishandling at any level.
What we are mad about:
1. They're taking pics of funeral pyres. This is not good. Violates the dead, and the family members. It's a private affair. We don't care if the West shows their dead being buried, we don't want our dead to be shown like that when they can't object. It's a drone shot and all, neither the dead nor the familes are giving permission for those.
2. There's a difference in reporting between showing dead of the West and Dead Indians. For the dead of the west, the focus is on danger of the disease, mishandling etc. For us, there's elements of fascination, Oriental exoticism. They are describing our dead as "stunning scenes". It's reaching snuff film levels. There's a glee thats pervasive and disgusting.
3. What you don't understand is that these reporters are sitting like vultures in crematoriums to take pics as soon as someone dies. I'll attach some pics to prove my point. This isn't journlism. It's selling dead bodies.
4. CNN is just a representative name. We're mad at every channel and paper indulging in this. It's not like we're mad just at CNN, but at the whole industry as a whole. Thing is, American media and their Indian slaves started it and paid for it. The rest are taking syndicated feed.
5. India is still faring better than many richer, westernised countries. Which, to the western conscious is appalling. You've seen Oscars and stuff like? Which Indian movies are celebrated? The ones about poverty and sadness. It's that same. If there aren't poor, dirty, dying Indians then there aren't people for white saviours to mock and save.
Also, I'm assuming this is going to be your final few hours in the forum. You're seriously underestimating how riled up we are about thebdisrespect to the dead.
Btw, one Indian Vulture journo. She was interviewed by the western media. Look at how she is basically sitting there on a hunt for dead people.
