Ashokan inscription also mentions step wells also indicates that it was a former well established practice by former kings as well

King Devanampriya Priyadarsin speaks thus. On the roads banyan-trees were caused to be planted by me, (in order that) they might afford shade to cattle and men, (and) mango-groves were caused to be planted. And (at intervals) of eight kos wells were caused to be dug by me, and flights of steps (for descending into the water) were caused to be built. Numerous drinking-places were caused to be established by me, here and there, for the enjoyment of cattle and men. [But] this so-called enjoyment (is) [of little consequence]. For with various comforts have the people been blessed both by former kings and by myself. But by me this has been done for the following purpose: that they might conform to that practice of morality

The figurine has a typical horse arched neck, the horse is depcted in a very realistic fashion with the tuft of horse's mane also depicted in a very realistic manner.

The horse also looks typically Kathiyawari horse from Gujarat.

it is important to properly reference your assertion before making one, loads of cave paintings from the historic period as well, cave paintings in general are hard to date.

Double Pointed Needle with central part ornate.

Double Pointed Needle

The object of gold is in the form of a long slender cylinder. It has a pointed needle like attachment on one side.

Needle

Fragment of an object triangular in shape carved on one side with irregular script like design . Holes visible on the object, one of which pass through the body of the object.

A very interesting object i have come acroos various evidences that pre brahmi pre historic inscriptions had rounded/squiggle shapes (still popular in myanmar, south india odesha etc), similar to this

but only further investigation may establish this

Decorated object

Vase with plano convex body, concave vase, slender neck and mouth splaying, spouted, painted in black with concentric bands. below the neck.

What is special here is the lota shape, also lotus type design probably at the base which was very popular in historic periods

Pot (Spouted)

Vase, green colour, with two looped handles at the neck one on either side, glazed.

Vase with two Handles

Miniature figure of a lion.

This supports the dating of Keeladi tbh, no one could believe that Keeladi in tamil nadu could have a brick structure in 2nd or 3rd century BC, now seening how even srilanka's brick structures can be dated now to 4th century BC, it makes the 6th century dating at Keeladi quite probable.

After analysing the brick sizes, archaeologists said that they were comparable with the Satavahana and Ikshvaku dynasty periods, which could be dated back to either the 1st or 2nd century BC.

During excavation, a series of broken conical shaped terracotta pipes were also found. These pipes, fitted into one another, may have been used for drainage purposes, and revealed that civic amenities were maintained by the occupants of this site, officials said.

A mutilated terracotta plaque depicting a lady (Parvati) seated on her legs. She is holding a child (Ganesha) in her right lap.

C.2nd Century BCE

This is important as it is thought that there is no evidence of Ganesha before 5th or 4th century AD.
