It is not. India's policy with respect to "paki nukes" is very well known even to china. If they are deluding themselves that they will escape in the guise of non existent paki nukes then that delusion must be ended once and for all.

If India brings China into the same MAD category as Pakistan, then Pakistani nuclear warfare strategists will know that China automatically has their back in case of an Indo-Pak nuclear conflict. This dramatically increases the size of their implied nuclear arsenal, enough to give it a clear quantitative and qualitative edge over India's nuclear arsenal. Is that really what you want?

If Chini-Pak nukes are 100 times then our still we manage to take out both of then. Those numbers are useless against us.

let me educate you on how this works - when i say 1KT (obviously a nuke) warhead it means the effective yield is 1000 tons of TNT. i was obviously mistaken in assuming that you would be able to understand this since you are on a defence forum - and here you are nitpicking on clauses like a lawyer. even if we assume Agni uses the most basic warhead designs (like the W-62 in a Mark12 reentry vehicle) the AgniV can carry 2 such warheads, total yielding= 340KT of TNT
