1 Warhead, 1.5 ton payload at 5000 km + range.Excuse me. I don't follow this thread specialy.

this one .........................................................................................
1 warhead are you sure ?1 Warhead, 1.5 ton payload at 5000 km + range.
I am also sure that range is not just 5000 km but declared figures are these and we have to go by that only.1 warhead are you sure ?

Ok............................I am also sure that range is not just 5000 km but declared figures are these and we have to go by that only.
Someone informed me that A3 was tested with MIRV, three of those.1.5 ton conventional payload has in excess of 5000km range, Indian nuke warheads weigh between 250-800 kg depending on age and design being deployed. A single 800 kg warhead or 4* 250 kg warheads would easily allow for targeting at ranges of around 6500-8000km.
It was picked from this thread.Yes,
Yep.
Pls post the full slide of the Agni 5 schematic instead of this superimposed slide on yesterday's launch pic.
I though MIRV Tests are being delayed for induction of the new instrumentation ship, Isn’t it?Someone informed me that A3 was tested with MIRV, three of those.
So you are right on that count.
I heard that A3 was tested with 2 warheads few years back.Someone informed me that A3 was tested with MIRV, three of those.
So you are right on that count.
4 x 250kg warheads nead some stuff so as to deliver each warhead on the right target. It weight a lot.1.5 ton conventional payload has in excess of 5000km range, Indian nuke warheads weigh between 250-800 kg depending on age and design being deployed. A single 800 kg warhead or 4* 250 kg warheads would easily allow for targeting at ranges of around 6500-8000km.
Why?I though MIRV Tests are being delayed for induction of the new instrumentation ship, Isn’t it?
