What i fear is,Bangladesh is similar to turkey,basically a puppet leader was established in both states earlier,but later fanatic mullah took over.
If Bangladesh in over 20-30 years get itself good economy and military and a fanatic mullah,it could be big pain in the a**.

It won't get a good military.they will only get a military like srilanka basically a glorified self defence force.their economy will taper out.for a better economy they will have to invest in tech and manufacturing alot and also provide the manpower for it.do you think they are like vietnam.if they go the route you said they will go they will have an abundance of idiots that they cannot employ in such an economy and hence the economy will grow to the size much less than required to be called a developed one.they are now growing on low end manufacturing.
