I don't care if usa goes down economically due to the crazy dealings of the usual suspects and consequently as a military power .we only need them for this decade as this decade will decide a lot of things for india.even the whole decade is not needed.

America is only a holding force in the Pacific and enough momentum is there in it to slow down china or atleast cause problems.

If anyone ever believed that india would ever be joined by usa on pok and china fight from the start it was unrealistic and even if trump won,that would not happen.the only thing is there might be possible double dealings by usa and china now.

But the main army or force is surprisingly india itself and probably japan followed by austrailia in that order.as we have the necessary nationalist fervour and civilizational backing to conduct a conflict in our favour.usa on the other hand even if on paper is powerful,underneath the will of the country and its identity are in chaos and uncertainty and due to a lot of diversity which leads to factions of incompatible goals based on ethnic, political, religious,etc lines their population won't be able to initiate or sustain new wars on behalf of their countries interest even if it was proven to be so as each of the many factions won't agree to some wars that are aginst their perceived foreign allies and only agree wars that would hurt the ideological enemies which will lead to gridlock.

In india,people more or less hate china and pak and there is no space for others.weapons and support help and holding force support is all that we need from America.
