1st pic looks like our bunkers are least protected by stones..and they have height advantage and that 120mm mortar is permanent fixture.and very close to fencing..will that not be a problem?
2nd pic is that the last out post of our's?..if so the hills across have advantage on us.

On the evening of October 28, terrorists struck at the Indian army in the Machchal sector in Kupwara district. They beheaded a soldier, carrying his head across into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The Indian army vowed an "appropriate response". Retaliation came but not like the September 29 surgical strike carried out by Para-SF operators on multiple terrorist camps across the LoC. The following day, the army moved seven FH-77B Bofors howitzers near the LoC. The guns were fired in pistol mode or in a flat trajectory at the targets nearly two kilometres across the border. Seventeen Pakistani bunkers were destroyed in the fire assault which the army claims killed 20 Pakistani soldiers. Artillery had once again proved its lethality. It sent a message without crossing the LoC.

Excellent work. is it possible to ID the regiment based on the insignia? The soldier is not an officer so no chance of getting any info through official channels.

The rifles on the troops have wooden furniture, so these are very old. Could be from Mujahid Battalion?

The rifles are FN FAL or its British version SLR. Mujahid Battalion probably.

These troops are from the Pak Mujahid Battalion.

Pakis as usual are barbarians. Their friend Chinese too are. Chinese executed Indian POWs in 1962 war(Read 1962 : The War That Was Not by Shiv Kunal Verma) and mutilated Soviet Border Guards in 1969.

Thats why I say strike them using concentration of heavy artillery and MLRS, strike in Mirpur, Punjab area. They should not escape by going back to their side. India failed to use conventional superiority. An War Of Attrition is the only way to bleed Pakistanis. If they think they can bleed India by proxy war, we have to bleed them by war attrition in border.
