US prepared to snatch Pakistan nukes: NBC News

Islamabad—The Obama administration is escalating its psychological warfare against the Pak military establishment through leaking very sensitive reports to the American and world media. In this regard, the NBC News reported that the US military and intelligence operatives are debating, strategizing, gaming and potentially even conducting crisis on entering Pakistan and seizing the nation's nuclear weapons during a crisis. The former White House Deputy Counter-Terrorism Director Roger Cressey confirmed the planning and term the scheme as," The highest priorities of the US intelligence community and the White House." He disclosed that the planned operation would be "snatch and grab" the nukes and that US Special Forces would try to dismantle or eliminate them.

A US Congressional Research Service report debated the case and justified it, claiming that Pakistan has to be deprived of its 90-110 nuclear arsenals. Princeton University Pakistan academic Zia Mian disclosed that CIA and Defence Department frequently conducted preparations to snatch the nukes. They've exercised attacking Iran; hence Pakistan should be ready for such episode.

In his 2009 book" Defusing Armageddon," intelligence scholar Jeffery Richelson wrote that the then US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Peter Pace five years ago outlined two kinds of situations:" elimination operations" and " interdiction operations by the United States to secure Pak nuclear weapons. The operations' task would be to locate, secure, disable and/or destroy Pak nukes.

Pak to react decisively

Islamabad—Authoritative sources in Pakistan have warned that if any foreign force tries to conduct a misadventure, Pakistan Armed Forces will react very strongly with all their resources.

The sources reacting to reports that US military and intelligence operatives were strategizing, gaming and may be conducting drills on entering Pakistan and seizing its strategic assets.

Pakistani experts were not sure if the news report was part of a psyops against Pakistan and its armed forces or it is just a testing balloon to check the air. "It will be a disaster scenario and Pakistan would not hesitate to use all its power to react immediately against any foreign aggression," the sources added.

NBC News reported on Thursday that The United States was preparing for a potential operation to take control of Pakistan's nuclear weapons should they appear vulnerable.

NBC News added that the "planning is taking place amid repeated statements by senior U.S. military officials that they have confidence in the security of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal."

NBC quoted ex-White House Deputy Counter-Terrorism Director Roger Cressey as saying that "It's safe to assume that planning for the worst-case scenario regarding Pakistan nukes has (already) taken place inside the U.S. government". "This issue remains one of the highest priorities of the U.S. intelligence community ... and the White House," he added.

If USA feels Pakistan has become too unstable they can pull out the forces and drop nuclear, neutron or hydrogen
bombs on Pakistan and Pakistan would have no means or time to retaliate.Neutron and Hydrogen bombs would not
produce any fallout in surrounding countries but finish off Pakistan.

Nukes are supposed to protect a country but Pakistan is a loony country
So Pakistan has to protect its nukes

Anyway this will happen only when a Taliban Take over is inevitable NOT before that

Or if a Rouge Islamist General does a coup Also China will have to be on board

USA will first try to destroy the Nuclear facilities Because securing all the sites peacefully is not
possible

Slightest threat to USA of a taliban takeover of Pakistan will mean it's time for USA to deliver
the deathblow. Bunker busters will destroy the Pakistani nuclear facilities and Neutron and
Hydrogen bombs will rain down on Pakistan.

We will bomb you to stone age, US had warned Pa

We will bomb you to stone age, US had warned Pak after 9/11

The secret is finally out. What made Pakistan, one of the staunchest supporters of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, turn its back on them and fall in line with the United States of America in the War on Terror after 9/11?
It was a stiff threat from the then US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage to "bomb Pakistan to the Stone Age" if it did not.

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf said in Washington, DC, last night that the threat was issued to the Pakistani intelligence director, reports The Times, London.

Musharraf's revelation comes in a week marked by discord between the two allies, with US President George Bush saying that he will not hesitate to order his troops into Pakistan if it was confirmed that fugitive Osama bin Laden was in hiding in that country and Musharraf's mute rebuttal that he would do it himself.

The disclosure about the 2001 US threat also comes just ahead of the publication of Musharraf's autobiography, In the Line of Fire.

Musharraf said on CBS's 60 Minutes on Thursday that when he was informed of Armitage's threat in 2001, he decided to "think and take action in the interest of the nation", which was what he did when he did an about-turn.

The Times' report said documents show that while Armitage disputed the language attributed to him, he did not deny the actual claim of threat, and that he did meet the then Pakistani ambassador and the visiting head of Pakistan's military intelligence service in Washington, DC, on September 13, 2001, when he asked them to take seven steps. It is a matter of record that within days of 9/11, Musharraf turned his back on the Taliban and became the West's key ally in the War on Terror.

The report also quoted Musharraf telling CBS that he found the US demands to turn over his country's border posts and bases for the American military was irksome. But the most ridiculous demand, he said, was the one to suppress expressions of support for terrorism targeting the US. "We cannot curb expression of views," he said.

MOAB (Massive Ordnance Air Burst)

MOAB (Massive Ordnance Air Burst)

On 11 Mar 03, at about 1300 hours (1:00 PM), Eastern Time, the Air Force conducted the first full operational test of the MOAB (Massive Ordnance Air Burst) bomb, quite literally the largest non-nuclear bomb in the World. The test was conducted at Eglin Air Force Base, in Florida.

The MOAB is designed to replace the BLU-82B "Daisy Cutter," which was used successfully in Vietnam for clearing thick jungle areas to create instant landing zones for Army Helicopters, and again during the Gulf War (where 11 Daisy Cutters were dropped from Special Operations C-130 aircraft), and again in Afghanistan.

MOAB officially stands for "Massive Ordinance Air Burst," but many folks involved in the test program have begun referring to the weapon as "Mother of All Bombs." While the test was reported to be a success, it's too soon to tell if enough MOABs can be manufactured in time for use in any potential conflict with Iraq. However, there is no doubt that part of the reason for the timing of the test was to rattle nerves in Iraq.

There is not yet much public information available about the MOAB. It weighs 21,500 pounds, compared to the 15,000 pound Daisy Cutter, and is the size of a small truck. Like the Daisy Cutter, the MOAB is designed to be dropped out of the back of a C-130 aircraft, but can possibly be dropped from a C-17 aircraft, as well.

Unlike the Daisy Cutter, which is a free-fall (dumb) bomb, that descends attached to a parachute, the MOAB is a precision bomb guided by GPS (Global Position Satellite). After being pulled out of the cargo hold of the aircraft by a parachute, the parachute releases, and the GPS guides the bomb to the target destination. At a designated altitude, the MOAB sprays the area with a highly flammable mist, which is then ignited by a conventional explosive within the bomb. The results are a truly devastating explosion that can destroy tanks, buildings, and personnel in an area of several hundreds of meters.

But no delivery system. Harpoon and Exocet missile codes belong to USA
and that is not deterrence.
An pakistan army is a fool to keep all 100-150 odd nuke at same place so that usa can grab easily.Usa will never know even if now or some years back pak has given nukes to taliban.

USA knows exactly where Pakistan hid them, nuclear weapons give off alpha particles that
USA can detect and if they can't they will have to bomb all of Pakistan.

Well it is plan for worse case, it may or may not happen, but world should be ready for such situation and after. India too should put in its resources for this with friendly countries, like Russia, Israel and others. We cant afford to have those nukes runing large in wrong hands. Pakistani nukes are the only stability force of the country after its army. From the looks of what is going on in Pakistan it is best that all its nuke are kept in check for the good of world. Worse case situation can present itself any day. Plus we have to plan for the aftermat, when most or all of its nuke secured, then the rest of the territory should be divided by the countries surrounding Pakistan, including China. Ofcourse, Pakistan Army wont give up its nuke without a fight.

US is believed to have mapped the presence of about 80 % of the Pakistani
arsenal and is continuosly and extensively monitoring the Paki arsenal

Paki generals are not fools to Give nukes to the Taliban These are not IEDs or RPGs

Pakis know the consequences of such reckless actions and after May 2 OBL assasination
and November 26 Salala raid USA has shown that it is willing to come INSIDE Pakistan
and Hit it

Pakis have got the message very loud and clear

Denuking the pukes is bound to happen sooner or later. How paranoid are the US. Watch this from history channel. They made an entire feature presentation on DC being attacked. Its a long video, probably not worth watching the whole thing but still it shows americas paranoia

And for once this paranoia is not unjustified considering the scum that like in Pukiland.
