18 Additional BSF Companies Deployed Along Pakistan Border in Punjab: Government
NEW DELHI: Border Security Force (BSF) has recently deployed 18 additional companies along the India-Pakistan International Border in Punjab, the Parliament was today informed.

"A request was received in August 2015 from the Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab regarding increase in deployment of BSF in Gurdaspur sector.

"Recently, BSF has deployed 18 additional companies on International Border in Punjab," Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said in a written reply in Rajya Sabha.
One BSF company has a strength of about 100 personnel.

In a separate reply on the same subject, the Minister said BSF has taken various measures to check infiltration along this border.
"Installing laser walls is one of the integrated measures taken by BSF. The laser technology developed by BSF has been designed to cover all the shortcomings experienced in the use of laser wall at various places in the past.
"The present technology has been found working satisfactorily to cover the un-fenced riverine stretches," he said.

With Intelligence Sharing, India-Pakistan Ties Acquiring New Layers
NEW DELHI: With reports that Pakistan's security authorities "shared" advance intelligence with India on terrorists possibly entering India to carry out attacks, the India-Pakistan bilateral relationship is acquiring new layers and facets, since this would be a rare occurence.

If another terror attack from Pakistan is even remotely successful in the coming days, the two countries could be entering tough territory and Modi's government would be under greater domestic pressure.

When NSA Ajit Doval and foreign secretary S. Jaishankar met their Pakistani counterparts, Nasir Khan Janjua and Aizaz Ahmed in bangkok on December 6, the two countries started a conversation on security/terrorism issues that was supposed to run parallel to the official MEA-led dialogue. It was supposed to revive the Ufa understanding which went up in smoke last year. PM Narendra Modi's unannounced visit to Lahore on Nawaz Sharif's birthday appeared to set the stage for a new chapter where Modi would be in control of the narrative.

The Pathankot terror attack put paid to such expectations. There was no longer any effort to delink terror from talks. Jaishankar told the Raisina Dialogue last week, "In the aftermath of a terror attack, if you ask me what is the priority, dealing with terror or diplomatic dialogue then the answer is obvious," he said.

But the two NSAs have continued to communicate with each other. While Doval (or anyone in the Indian establishment) refused to speak on the subject, Pakistan authorities, particularly Sartaj Aziz, Nawaz Sharif's foreign policy adviser went on record to say they had received "leads" from India, traced the phone numbers given by India to the JEM headquarters in Bahawalpur and placed Masood Azhar, terror chief, in detention.

He even announced last week Pakistan's investigation team would arrive in India in a few days. MEA has maintained they are yet to get details of the composition of the delegation. For Pakistan too, the visit of the SIT will be important because in exchange for access to pathankot, Pakistani officials have to give a credible account of the actions they have taken against the perpetrators of the Pathankot attack, because the FIR filed does not mention any names.

David Headley's testimony has resurrected the Mumbai attack case, which has virtually run aground in Pakistan. It has turned the spotlight on the Modi government which has been accused of "forgetting" Mumbai to focus on Pathankot. This week Pakistan has reportedly called in 24 people from India to testify in their courts, and no one is sure how this is going to play out.

Six terrorists involved in Pathankot attack: Forensic report

NEW DELHI: Putting to rest the controversy over the number of terrorists who attacked the Pathankot airbase, a forensic examination has concluded that remains of two more terrorists were found from the debris, thus confirming that six terrorists were involved in the assault. Top government sources said a detailed forensic examination was concluded on the remains collected by the National Investigation Agency from two different locations of the strategic airbase. The forensic test has come to the conclusion that traces of two human beings were found in the remains collected from Pathankot airbase, the sources said. Bodies of four terrorists were recovered immediately after the anti-terror operation was over in the airbase. There have been varying reports over the number of terrorists, suspected to be belong to Pakistan-based group Jaish-e- Mohammad, attacking the Pathankot airbase on January 2. While NSG, which had carried out the operation against the terrorists, has said there were six terrorists, NIA, which is probing the case, maintained that they found the bodies of four terrorists and no conclusive evidence was found about any more terrorist's involvement in the attack. Home Minister Rajnath Singh had said that charred remains, apart from four bodies of terrorists, were found at the debris after security forces searched the spot when the operation ended. "Charred remains were found and sent for forensic examination. We are awaiting for reports," the Home Minister had said on March 4.

So the NSG is vindicated despite numerous media outlets smearing them thus far and implying they were making up the 5th and 6th attackers.

India Bury Dead Pathankot Terrorists As Pakistan Disowns Them

New Delhi: Pakistan is once again in the state of denial. This time, the provincial government has refused to accept the dead bodies of 4 JeM linked militants who were killed by Indian security forces during gunbattle at the frontier Pathankot IAF base.

According a report in Times of India, the Indian side on Wednesday bury the 4 terrorists at an undisclosed location in keeping with Islamic rituals. The decision was taken after Islamabad washed its hands despite irrefutable proof that they had been sent by JeM to launch attacks on Indian soil.

Initially, Pakistan had acknowledged that all four were its nationals. But when New Delhi asked Islamabad to take possession of the bodies of the 4 militants and provided evidence on their nationality including intercepts, Islamabad disowned them as unverifiable.

In the documents submitted to Pakistan, Indian had identified all the 4 militants as Nasir, Abu Bakar, Farooq and Qayum. While Nasir and Bakar were resident of Vehari and Gujranwala of Punjab province, Farooq and Qayum were resident of Sanghar and Sukkur of Sindh.

For the last more than 4 months the corpses had been lying at the Pathankot mortuary forcing the Civil Surgeon to write to his seniors many times requesting them to give permission to take them out.

This is not the first instance where Pakistan refused to own up its nationals who it has often called 'strategic assets'. Before this, Islamabad had disowned Ajmal Kasab, the lone 26/11 attacker captured alive and hanged 3 years ago, as well though every piece of evidence pointed to the fact that he was a Pakistani.

7 security personnel were killed and several others injured when Pakistani terrorists owing allegiance to Pakistan-based JeM, attacked the Pathankot Air Force base after breaching the border on January 2.

Why bury with Islamic Rituals... when pak disowned them?
Burn em those dead like garbage!

Nope. In fact, those terrorists should be burned or crucified. Not buried. Never buried. That will make a lot of these freaks not do what they do.

Hahaha.. Which world are you in? They already think of us as infidels deserving to be beheaded.
The point here is even after beheading, they will say it was hindu who beheaded hindu because the terrorist was burned according to hindu faith.

I'm not saying burn him as per Hindu traditional rituals. Just incinerate him.

Why not donate them to medical colleges?
But the dead body will have to be in a good condition, at least to a certain extent, for medical students to be able to conduct their dissections. From the pictures of dead terrorists available on the forum and on youtube, it seems like the only skill which medical students could practice on these dead bodies is stitching the parts back together. :pound:

I by default assumed that only the head is damaged (originally as well as because of head shot by our forces). Remainder part of the body should be fine :biggrin2:

Muslims in Palestine have started a new drama claiming that the dead bodies of terrorists which are killed by Israel are taken by Jews to steal their organs. Apparently it's some sort of cultural (theological) caricature of the 'evil Jew stealing organs from dead bodies' which the Hamas propaganda department is playing and it is attracting huge support and recruits from it. We could become victims of the same kind of propaganda. The dead ones need to be burned in full public view. Even burying them in graves creates the problem of turning the dead into martyr and the grave into a pilgrimage site for future terrorists. Let's dispose off this filth immediately, otherwise just for the sake of a few organs, the presstitutes will get a stick to beat us with and we will lose the moral high ground there.
