Till the CL-20 is weaponized into a bomb or a missile, the most powerful non-nuclear explosive in the world is of no practical use to us. Inventions and re-inventions are a common thing in the world of science and technology, but until they are put to practical use, it doesn't benefit anyone other than a few researchers working in a laboratory !

By the way, this news feature showing the Tejas as the supreme, all mighty fighter jet was really the funniest part for me ! How the hell did they claim that its a stealth jet ? I suppose most of these guys cannot differentiate between "steel" and stealth" for that matter..

The CL-20 is very unstable and even the US, the one who originally developed it have not been successful in implementing it as a bomb or any controlled explosive device.

CL-20 only draw back is price, A kg cost 70,000 Rs, Though it considered to be used in Arjun tank`s HEAT round..

CL-20 is 15% more explosive than HMX military grade explosive and far more powerful than regular RDX..
