They said Chinese missiles to Pakistan. Chinese developed these, did the tests and gave it to Pakistan which conducted few tests to show that they have developed one. I mean if they developed all by themselves in such a short span of time, then they have very effective system, better than countries like US, Russia etc.

OT. Does Pakistan has Super Computer and if they do, what is its processing speed in flops. ?
Pakistan missiles are based on 60 year old SCUD(DUD) designs no need to test old junk.
None of the Pakistani missiles Ballistic or cruise missile fly faster than MACH 3.
AGNI 3 reaches MACH 13-15.

Red an article about if India's BMD system become more efficient and deployed in important cities and high value targets, Pakistan has to make more nuclear warheads to strike these regions by overwhelming our BMD system. This will put more strain on them along with international pressure not to forget the cost to maintain such facilities. Because of our NFU policy, its the only way to avoid significant damage.

As for Pakistan India's nuclear stockpile is more than sufficient. If effective number of strikes on both sides are in double digits, it means death of millions and long lasting drastic effect on both the countries.

One thing I can't understand is that Pakistan is too weak to handle more pressure. It is constantly attacked, bombed, soldiers beheaded, economy in shambles. This is the best time for India to pressurize Pakistan economically and on Pakistan's eastern border. Their steps for peace is just for keeping India stucked in Aman ki Asha while they get rid of their other problems. The day they will control their situation, they will start their dirty word again.

India has the 3rd largest military fissile material stockpile in the world, more than China. We can build
thousands of nukes if needed. Good to focus on Defensive with a strong offense.

Please don't compare China with India. We build nuclear weapons for self-defense and strictly follows the "no first use" policy. I am surprised to know that peace loving Indians are ready to build thousands of nuclear warheads.

When compared the nuclear weapon programs of these two countries, please remember this fact: China conducted the first nuclear warhead missile test on Oct 27, 1966; the Agni-II was first tested on 11 April 1999.

You didn't get the import of what he said. India has the nuclear stockpile to make 1000 nukes 'if a need arises'. India also has same policy as China - NO First Use.

It dosnt matter you have enough nuclear stockpile to make 1000000 nukes.

To get missle from point A to point B you need delivery systems and infrastructures.

Chinese missiles are known as low quality crap. Please don't insult Agni/Prithvi etc by comparing them with the chinese missiles. The quality of chinese weapons and aircraft is very well known to everyone. Chinese nuke arsenal is likewise more about quantity and very little abt quality. Even pakistan navy and AF prefer second hand western weapons over brand new chinese ones if they can get their hands on it.

Just to point out. The IBN is a american news channel. They are worried India is not going to buy their useless patriots or SM-2/AEGIS combo hence these lifafa articles.I wouldn't worry about rubbish sources and articles like these. Just remember how the chinese soiled themselves when A-5 was tested and went begging and whining to the world that India had actually tested a 8000 km range missile.

Only posts from Pakistan would take solace on truly, untrue reports. Indian bombs and Indian missile are as capable as Chinese made Pakistani missiles.

India's problem is not lack of warheads, the real problem is that India doesn't have any warheads outsiders actually believe will work. A country that went 3 straight olympics without netting a single medal, a country that has been struggling mightily with an assault rifle, itself a copy of a mature Belgian design, a country that produced a whopping 45 tanks in 5 years following a 30 year long development, certainly does not strike any fear in anyone. If you can't make a decent rifle, how could you convince someone that you can make a working nuclear warhead? The fact that any indian defence project that is not a joint venture with someone, has either been declared a failure or is a de facto failure, does not help with the perception either.

Yes a country that could send a satellite to moon without missing it by 100000 miles in the first try, how could they have reliable ballistic missiles? A country that routinely sends satellites to space can hardly be expected to have any understanding of tactical and stratergic missiles.

I would like Chinese to be under delusions that India nukes and missile don't work. Works for India.

This thread has made some good commie trolls pop out .

only @ trolls

When Chinese have NO first use policy then we do not need reliable missiles at all. Sleep tight

For Pakistan we know how to dodge their air defences and pound their country with all the stones and bricks we have with our jets and other means again we don not need alienware missiles for that.

Our boys break sound barriers over Islamabad after their morning tea.

Through reading the posts on this forum, I find that I must double check what Indian members said.

Indian National Security Advisor Shri Shivshankar Menon signaled a significant shift from "no first use" to "no first use against non-nuclear weapon states" in a speech on the occasion of Golden Jubilee celebrations of the National Defence College in New Delhi on October 21, 2010.

China has the same policy against US and Russia. It is NFU against non nuke states only. But thanks for pointing it out.

Come on ! all such policies are only for ideal situations in a war, they are just declared to show the peaceful intent and nature of a country, no country with such doctrine waits to be nuked if seriously threatened, it is foolish to wait for 50+ incoming nuclear missiles at once to you and still holding the "no first use policy" tag.

I know that you must be proud of your country's achievements. But you should not ignore the gap between China's missile program and yours. As I have already said, China conducted the first nuclear warhead missile test on Oct 27, 1966. India waited more than 30 years to have something similar. Enough is said.

Chinese missiles are known as low quality crap. Please don't insult Agni/Prithvi etc by comparing them with the chinese missiles.
