AK630 is not a viable option it's only usfull in point defense you cant cover Indian border with Pakistan with this
c- ram is too expensive it takes 350 systems to cover Gaza
6 iron dome platoons provide the same cover (6 launchers in each platoon)
plus iron dome can deal with artillery and provide info for counter battery fire
we calculated that in open artillery dual we will have a 50 too 1 advantage against any Arab army
this is a killer punch for India (any border harassment decisively answered )

must be 500 meters, manc all these missile can be easily tracked, we are very strong in radars. AK630 is good gun, you should see it has been installed in most of our warships. If it is integrated with radar with network centric environment, AWAC and green pine/LRTR as backup. it can be taken out. this is not first option but last option.

akash is based on old SAM tech it lacks active seekers and cannot be used in the anti - missile / shell roll

Yes. Akash is a point defence system meant to engage UAVs and aircraft. Iron Dome is of something entirely different when it comes to capability.

I'm sorry but a gun based system is not going to work for the simple reason that NASR is probably going to be used in a nuclear airburst mode i.e there is probably going to be no terminal dive where the gun can do it's work,also the phalanx has an effective range of 2.2 miles(3.6km) the AK-630 around 4km both in a flat trajectory ; the range shall be greatly reduced when targeting projectiles coming in on a terminal dive trajectory, we need to have a mobile rapid SAM based system only.

dont get me wrong here what i am saying is as per GSQR of IA they wanted system to be mounted on tank so that it can work with other tanks, what i meant was that system should run along with other tanks in cold start.

do we really have such kind of capabillity previously drdo made many tall claim but nothing come in reallity,besides pakistan just in our immidiate neighbour so if they launch a missile we wil have very little time to response,may be 10-20 minutes,so our early warning system have to be state of the art .we will have a very long way to achieve that goal.
