#AssamRifles recovered 16 Rifles Scopes of different magnifications of foreign origin from an individual at Khudengthabi, Tengnoupal, Manipur on 08 June. The apprehendee & the recovered sights were handed over to police for further investigation

The Chhattisgarh police on Friday recovered a Heckler and Koch G3 Rifle used by NATO and Pakistan army.

Second G3 recovered from naxals.

Except for J&K...
Mostly because the weapons caught are substandard, single shot non-restricted bore.

You can check in this thread, except for the rare assault rifles most of the weapons are just hunting rifles locally made.

we use PKMs & AKS-74U's in Kashmir, as we didnt buy most of them........ they are trophies......

AKS-74U? Even if we took some as trophies, I don't suppose using that would make much sense considering IA doesn't keep stocks of 5.45x39mm.

However, SG guys do carry some Bulgarian Arsenal AR-SF - which is basically an AKSU but chambered for the commonly available 7.62x39 round.

AKS-74U? Even if we took some as trophies, I don't suppose using that would make much sense considering IA doesn't keep stocks of 5.45x39mm.

They are not Special Group, but SFF.
