Less than a month after Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Mohammad Naveed was captured, a second Pakistani terrorist has been caught in Jammu and Kashmir today. The terrorist captured today has been identified as 22-year-old Javed Ahmed from Muzaffargarh in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. He also goes by the names Sajjad and Abu Ubedullah, interrogators have learned.

Indian Army reportedly used “chilly grenades” developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) at its facility in Tezpur, northern Assam. chilli grenade is a non-toxic weapon and when used would force a terrorist to come out of his hideouts as the smell is so pungent that it would literally choke them.

‘Bhut jolokia’ – recognized as the hottest of spices, measured in Scoville heat units of which is 1,001,304 is one of the key ingredients used in “chilly grenades which were developed by Drdo and already trials for the hand grenades mixed with the world’s hottest chilli ,so far have been found satisfactory and this is first instance of Indian Army using it to flush out terrorist.

World's hottest chilli to become India's secret weapon against terrorism
The world's hottest chilli - the thumb-sized bhut jolokia, or ghost chilli - will be used by the Indian military to make hand grenades to immobilise terrorist suspects, defence officials said on Tuesday.

The bhut jolokia was confirmed by Guinness World Records in 2007 as the world's spiciest chilli Photo: CEN

"The chilli grenade has been found fit for use after trials in Indian defence laboratories, a fact confirmed by scientists at the Defence Research and Development Organisation," Col. R. Kalia, a defence spokesman in the north-eastern state of Assam, said.

"This is definitely going to be an effective non-toxic weapon because its pungent smell can choke terrorists and force them out of their hideouts," said R. B. Srivastava, the director of the Life Sciences Department at the New Delhi headquarters of the DRDO.

The bhut jolokia was confirmed by Guinness World Records in 2007 as the world's spiciest chilli. It is grown and eaten in India's north-east for its taste, as a cure for stomach troubles and a way to fight the crippling summer heat.

It has more than 1,000,000 Scoville units, the scientific measurement of a chilli's spiciness. Tabasco sauce ranges from 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville units, while jalapeno peppers measure anywhere from 2,500 to 8,000.

Mr Srivastava, who led a defence research laboratory in Assam, said trials are also on to produce bhut jolokia-based aerosol sprays to be used by women against attackers and for the police to control and disperse mobs.

Why spend Indian Tax payers money on these Jaahil Jihadi's?

Why announce this news to whole world?

Catch those swines, intorogate them for couple of months and put some bueets in their head rather than serving them Biryani's.

I beleive, some lessons are never learnt no matter what, eh?

It can be due to a change in security doctrine.

This means naming and shaming Pakistan and importantly securing evidence in the form of one of these captured jihadis for the world to see whenever any incident occurs.

Remember, 26/11 role of Pakis was exposed without doubt due to Kasab getting caught.

Well, isn't it an open secret that, Pakistan is behind the terror attacks on India since last couple of decades?

Name and shame? Bakistan is a shameless country, isn't that obvious so far? Why do we need to prove something when we already know that, who is behind all these henious acts?

Kasab was hanged but it took years! Govt wasted crores to secure that fucking terrorirst when we had all the evidence.

India had provided all the prrofs against Kasab and involvement of Lakhwi. What has happened to hm so far? he is a free man in Bakistan now

Diplomatic offensive piece by piece works wonders. Best part is it is insidious.
It's not about making Pakis change but it's about building consensus on global stage for things to come.

Sir we should spend more for balujistan .because they are effective in both war and peace time .and they are in pak soil not in India so there is no side effect in funding. This peaple can bring head ache for both Pakistan and China .
