Can India leverage France bailing on Russia?

We can now do two things.
1) Go ahead with Rafale deal. But, france should build the fighter completely in India with Indian partners. By this we can eliminate any mistral type scenario.
2) Give russians the 75I deal and take the path of FGFA. Joint RnD and manufacture in India. But a 75I deal should mean that Russia makes India a 50-50 partner in all aspects of FGFA.
We are destined to generate more wealth. But we will lag in technologies. So we should make use the money we have to buy technologies from the aging west.
We should follow the European (Mostly British) strategies in India during the colonial era. Play friend to both sides of a rivalry and grow over them.
