Yes but this would mean us to extend our tentacles into BD politics deeply to remove Islamist and anti-Indian elements in their politics. I doubt our MEA has that level of depth when its government cannot even handle our own country.
Keep the BD Army in good humour, and that will be an advantage even when Khaleda is in power.

A small nitpick here. We are currently producing 100 T-90s and 20-30 Arjuns every year. The T-90s will be increase to 150 by this year.
I don't really think T-90 qualifies to be an Indian product. Arjun MBT OTOH can be exported to anyone who wants to buy. 20-30 tanks a year won't cut it if we have to be marketing it and producing it for some other countries as well. Tanks are usually bought in multiples of ten, meaning that say if a Chile orders 50 tanks on top of the current orders that IA has placed, we will need more production lines to speed up delivery without affecting either our military or theirs.

The GOI should just let the private players export to Bangladesh with Armor and ships developed by themselves or via international collaboration, you will see them weaned off the Chinese teats in a year or sooner. Many Indian Private firms are already selling to foreign nations via loopholes case in point The TATA DENEL mounted gun which is competing against the likes of the CEASAR and the ARCHER in Indonesia is built partly in India with the weapons integration being done in South Africa, Also such an allowance by the GOI would let our private players build Knowledge and fine tune their defence manufacturing skills thereby increasing manifold their already considerable expertise in Military Systems.

^^ The government doesn't seem to be interested in giving lion's share of the only industry it can control effectively i.e. defense. Remove that from the government's kitty by allowing privates to come up, and see that they will be left with nothing to challenge due to their incompetency vis a vis private arms makers.
