Watching Musharraf's Zardari must be getting more and more jittery as the day when his will lose his presidential jacket. And he will stripped of all immunity....

So it must be great theme to bet on ... bookies could even spot fix it with Zardari... if he would sport a towel or not when he boards a plane etc etc..

I think he will not be in Pakistan on Sept 8 because Supreme Court could order an exit ban on Sept 9.

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan announced on Tuesday that presidential elections would take place before Eid-ul-Fitr on August 6, DawnNews reported.

A proposed schedule of the presidential poll was sent to CEC Jutice (r) Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim, who gave final approval, the election commission said.

According to the approved schedule, the nomination forms would be submitted on July 24.

The scrutiny of the forms would conclude on July 26 whereas the last day to withdraw candidacy would be July 29.

Election for the position of President would take place on August 6 whereas the results would be announced the next day on August 7.

Earlier on Monday Presidential spokesperson Farhatullah Babar said that President Asif Ali Zardari would not resign before the end of his tenure nor would he contest for a second term of presidency.

The tenure of incumbent President Asif Ali Zardari officially ends at September 8.
