Info on UTTAM / AESAR AESA radar for LCA
Few batchesFor mk1a its isrealis for sure
Same radar , not much testing required , except checking it's extreme capabilities , nothing much just some reverificationAre they going to test all the radar modes for uttam AESA mk2 again for Tejas mk1a integration ?
Where is uttam AESA(mk1) currently being tested on a Tejas PV going to be used? It was previously announced that more than half of Tejas mk1a will roll out with uttam AESA right?
Or Uttam AESA mk2 is just a production variant of Uttam mk1 with some improvements?
Nicely explained they need to move to TSA based elements fast for wider bandwidth , higher directivity, higher gain... thus giving better range, better ECM, ECCM capabilities, higher SAR capabilities along with better LPI capabilities . Uttam still use dipole antenna array. need to get rid of those fast.
