I don't see anyone here who wants Taiwan to be part of China. All people want is China to invade Taiwan and to lose the battle in which US also suffers great damage.

In legal terms Taiwan is not a nation and is not even recognised by the UN and the US.

Illa Omar visited POK and we just sat doing nothing because in the end we know POK is not coming back. Unlike us the Chinese have through decades manged to keep Taiwan away from the international community.

Taiwan was after all a part of the Qing empire before they lost it to the Japanese.

We gave up POK they won't give up Taiwan that's the only difference.

We already administer Kashmir and have significant force presence. Expansion shouldn’t hurt but help since Pakistan would have to move infrastructure to their main body of land. The direct visibility into terror apparatus gives us more control over the situation
