And you better read what you post.

He was part of U. N. delegate not regular army. Secondly, he died due to land mine explosion.

So from next time choose your words wisely, I don't want to indulge in foul language.

Naah he is not even worth 2 cent; he is just deep in to the American dream. thats all.

Exactly my point. Filipinos died fighting Nokors and Chinese while an Indian Colonel died touring the battle field...

Don't worry. There is enough deranged nationalist hysteria shown here for anyone who expresses contrary opinion to be labelled Pakistani. Or woke (whatever that means). Or weak (whatever that means). Or socialist (whatever that means these days).

I'm just waiting to be identified as as a woke, weak, socialist, Marxist-Leninist-LGBCDE-Maoist-Whateverist. I've already learned here that I'm probably Pakistani. Amazingly I never realised I was Pakistani until now. And the Indians who live next door and the Pakistanis who live opposite have been no more successful than I. We must all be a bunch of failures, mustn't we? :)
Damn you are demanding too much, you want to enjoy entire buffet at once...??? Not good man, :nono::nono::nono:

You are acting dumb beyond limit. Do you understand what a battlefield is? . Its not your granny's backyard, or you cities famous park where you go to tour.

Do you even know what is a land mine.
This understanding of battlefield of yours, gives pretty much idea; how much battle your army has fought.

That's so rich. The Soviet invasion and 10-year occupation cost 2M lives, where's your bleeding heart? Damn those Russians, they're efficient killing machines!

America on the other hand took 20 years to kill 200K Afghans...
So deaths during Soviet Afghan war prove that there will be more bloodshed now under Taliban?

:confused1:

Notice how the 2 cent Democrat bot has nothing to say about the fact that it was the American and British troops who fired at civilians at the airport after the bombing.
Source? I read earlier that one or two witnesses said this. I would have thought there would be more witnesses among the hundreds of people in the immediate area.

And what happened to the report that after the bomb detonated there was someone with a weapon who started shooting people?

More than the incoming intra-Afghan fracticide, what's more intetesting is the regional security implication of the American withdrawal. For 20 years the Americans have provided stability in Afghanistan and as a consequence effectively underwrote Chinese, Russian and Indian security...

As if I'm getting civility here... why don't you at least admonish members for calling me names for simply pointing out facts? If ever I made off hand remarks, it's mostly in an effort to give some of the nincompoops here a dose of their own medicine. A man-made "kharma" if you will.

you want a BBC correspondent to stick around gathering evidence in a stateless country in midst of an evacuation, rocket barrage and drone strikes?

Whatever noises Taliban is making at present which appears smooth for Indians , all is posturing because of economic blockade of AF/PAK. I think Indian Position of not recognizing Taliban should be consistent with our line of not negotiating with terrorist's. In case we should not forget that one fine day all Muslim countries will come together. UN resolution under our chairmanship not naming Taliban is surprise to me. Is there something cooking?

No. Just surprised that if soldiers were shooting people, there are not more witnesses among the hundreds of people in the area who reported what they saw over the course of the next few hours. With current technology it is not difficult to disseminate information.

let’s take your scenario forward.

Every afghan present at that site of the blast are those who desperately want to get into that airport whose gates are controlled by US UK & turkey forces, how many would give up a chance to save themselves by identifying themselves on camera giving evidence s against US UK or Turkish forces?

let the dust settle down, we are democracies, ultimately accountability is fixed one way or other if there is evidence. there are systems in place to take care of such scenarios.

missing piece here is a medical report on deceased by Red Cross which would have otherwise come out by now, if not for the regime change chaos.

Already provided earlier in this thread. By your very own BBC. Go and watch.
I find this BBC report entitled:

Kabul airport attack: What do we know?

I find no reference to any troops firing into the crowd. The only reference I find to firing into the crowd is this:

'According to one account, one attacker fired into a crowd of people, although reports also said Taliban guards had fired into the air.'

Look, I am interested in what happened, not in selecting elements of what happened that accord with my prejudices.

that’s for you to worry about, why your state broadcaster is not quoting the witness from their own content in an interview given to their own correspondent.

Whether witness is right or wrong is for judicial system to decide, suppressing on camera witness statement is wrong.

How do you know the information is fake when an incident has just occurred. List reputed media source. BTW by that logic nothing should be posted here and the forum be reduced as only so called reputed media article or your disjointed impulsive rants?
What is the reputation of the Twitter source to waste the bandwidth and time here?

may be it is better to open a new thread called rumours from ISI fake handles on internet and discuss there.

What the reporter said:
'Many of those we meet say their families weren't killed by the blast but by firing in the confusion afterwards, they believe, by foreign soldiers.'

Sole eye witness account:
'Somehow I saw American soldier... and beside this there were Turkish soldiers... so
the fire come from the bridges, like from the towers. Yea, from the soldiers.'

It is a bit vague. He is saying that he saw soldiers firing. Had he said he had seen soldiers firing into the crowd, that would be different to me.
