This is a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) indicating a temporary dangerous area due to debris from the PSLV C55/TeLEOS-2 launch, which is expected to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere in the Tahiti FIR (Flight Information Region). The airspace will be impacted by this activity from April 22 to April 30, 2023, between 0830-0630 (UTC) and from May 1 to May 15, 2023, between 0330-2215 (UTC).
During this time, there will be a temporary dangerous area for aircraft flying in the impacted airspace, which is bounded by specific geographic coordinates. The area includes no-FIR area as well. Operators are advised to file their flight plan with a trajectory that ensures the area is circumnavigated. The NOTAM also warns airspace users of the particularly dangerous nature of this activity and strongly advises avoiding the area during the activity time slot.
ATS route UN789 will be impacted in the NTTT FIR between EKETI and EKUDO. It's important for aircraft operators and pilots to review and adhere to this NOTAM for safe and efficient flight operations in the affected airspace during the mentioned duration.
