Saudi telecoms service provider Integrated Telecom Company (ITC) today announced it has signed an agreement with China-based equipment vendor Huawei Technologies, to renovate and expand the capacity of its network data infrastructure for IP/MPLS services.

The upgrade is expected to allow ITC to future proof its service offerings and build cloud computing applications.

"Signing with Huawei will be the opening towards further co-operation in the implementation and development of ITC projects in the kingdom, such as data connectivity, and Internet services," said Eng. Ghassan Itani, CEO, ITC.
