Like some people here and on twitter said, the camo appears to be taking the colour of the background for some reason.

Maybe one of the colours in the pattern is being confused as being of background colour by our eyes.


If this is indeed the case then, hope the manufacturer does the colours justice after the tender is issued.


Manufacturing quality or camera settings could also be the cause.

Thats too much we never saw the old one change so much from what i remember. Lighting and Surrounding part isnt that a good thing?

For example look at the manikin photo, they put a bright red carpet which reflects that shade over the whole images, also I'm 90% sure that the Para image has been touched (Lightroom).
Anyways let's wait for images from the field, we'll know better then.

Rajouri where they are is not covered in snow all time of the year, and lets say he is wrong here even then having a camo just for hardly few months is a logistical nightmare.

The question is whether the government is willing to accept non-combat casualties every time there is a ceasefire violation due to the lack of such camos. To me as an Indian, it is not acceptable. Soldiers join the military to protect the country - while death is inevitable, it does not HAVE to come when not in combat. Logistics can always be managed and India won't be the first country to take such a step.

Conflict zones require more than adequate logistics and it is something all forces have to be prepared for that.
If these expectations are not set by the soldiers, the government will start scrimping on even their normal allowances.

they should have asked mahindra to remove as much plastic on the outer body as possible.

Ya'll Nibbiars plastic is good for them or else with their rough use the the cost matimance for the steel lower body could be a bug head ache. And also the more use of metal body will increase the weight of the vehicles. And you can easily replace the plastic part but not the meetal body parts.
