Mahindra vehicles are looking very compact for light special mission with better protection
I'm eagerly waiting for an indeginous Avenger like setup on Armado.
So aslv is live
Why did this take such a long time 3 years if I am not wrong to deliver 1st batchI'm eagerly waiting for an indeginous Avenger like setup on Armado.
First they produced for IA's UNPKF and now it is for IA.Why did this take such a long time 3 years if I am not wrong to deliver 1st batch
They took 2 years to deliver a whopping number of 3 vehicles to the army. Making armored vehicles is not complex as fighter jets. Mahindra better get their delivery speed up from now on.
What Avenger like setup do you have any reference pics?I'm eagerly waiting for an indeginous Avenger like setup on Armado.
They will probably or delivering 1,300 units will take them foreverThey took 2 years to deliver a whopping number of 3 vehicles to the army. Making armored vehicles is not complex as fighter jets. Mahindra better get their delivery speed up from now on.
Same issue with Kestrel/WhAP and QRFV, piecemeal deliveries of 5-10 vehicles till now. China can probably churn out 100 such vehicles in a single day. They will probably or delivering 1,300 units will take them forever
Yea but it's Mahindra they do have the capacity to curn out these easily and complete the delivery by 2025 but seems like it will be atleast a year delayed hopefully I am proven wrongSame issue with Kestrel/WhAP and QRFV, piecemeal deliveries of 5-10 vehicles till now. Apparently all 1300 ASLVs are to be delivered by 2025, no way they can deliver 650+ vehicles per year.

since this is bespoke manufacturing for the moment, it's taking time. as long as their vendors supply their sub-assembly components on time, assembly should not be an issue.Same issue with Kestrel/WhAP and QRFV, piecemeal deliveries of 5-10 vehicles till now. Normally setting up a production line with the proper tooling takes 1-2 years from the date on which the contract is awarded. They took 2 years to deliver a whopping number of 3 vehicles to the army.
