Again why does not modiji crack the whip on mod Babu's ? Why only HAL ? In general I have not seen much a## whipping of beuracracy Babu's by Modiji

We love our kichidi's with slogans like unity in diversity....mazhab sab ek and bs. They made same mistake with Mirages too back then. Fools learn from their own experience but we are first grade in that. On the positive side, IN seems to have atleast going for encore to the IAC-1

In this case it's only the tender which's been floated. Long way to go before order is placed. The last time MoD took 2 yrs IIRC to negotiate the price with HAL & place the order .

Tender and bids are two different things, both amount don't have to be same.

HAL itself has sub contractors for various parts. We might even see lower bidding than 65000 crore by HAL if finds that the sub-contractors can get things done at certain cost.

Bhai log talking and taking it in a bizarre way. HAL or any agency may float a tender, call bids for Tejas. This is one part. HAL should be directed to produce a certain number of aircrafts as per requirement of IAF. Thereafter the machines be given to IAF. Naak ko ghuma kar kyu pakadna. IAF ko budget allocate kiya jaaye, fir negotiation honge HAL ke saath, fir IAF paisa release kare, HAL se kharide.

A simple doubt, If ELTA2052 AESA is already available for Mark 1A, why not use the same in these trainers rather than upgrading at a later stage? If it is regarding quick delivery of these trainers, is it not possible for IAF to wait a little longer to get a better aircraft?
