This is good configuration MK1A hopefully can carry more

All we need is more Air Refuelers to feed these puppies
MTOW is already achieved. Those are 500kg or 250kg bombs? Those are 1200 litres fuel tank. Still middle fuselage pylon is empty.
Is the Wikipedia number of 5.3 tons wrong. The middle hardpoint can carry a 725L or 800L tank. And outer can carry 1200L 2 drop tanks tanks. It's not just about weight of armaments the pylons also weight quite around 50-100kg depending on armaments..MTOW is already achieved.
2T fuel+ 2T bomb (4x500kg GBU)+ 2 A2A + targetting pod.
And 9850kg clean weight without weapons pylons and armaments only with full internal fuelIs the Wikipedia number of 5.3 tons wrong. The middle hardpoint can carry a 725L or 800L tank. I once somewhere read that initially tejas's empty weight was 7070kg and max take off weight of 14,735kg. Correct me if I'm wrong
Now Wikipedia and articles quote it's 6.56 tons and mtow is 13.5T. Correct me if I'm wrong
Please do not believe the DRDO chiefs blindly. GaN HEMTs may be availavle for land or naval radars but info about large scale production of X band for min version for fighter aircraft AESA is not available as of now.Read carefully. And also the the drdo chief s. Christopher who served from 2015-18 also said that fabrication plant has been established to make make GaN based TR modules.

Well, if you're still interested, here's the full article -Article is behind paywall and no where GaN is mentioned …
GaN suppliers are mostly from semiconductor manufacturers… for now no one is providing GaN to India inhouse or abroad ASTRA Microwave has GaS no GaN
SSPL has developed indigenous AlGaN/GaN power HEMT material and device fabrication technologies for achieving long term self-reliance in GaN-based material, high power devices, and MMICs for RF applications.
We are Ready to manufacture -astra microwavePlease do not believe the DRDO chiefs blindly. GaN HEMTs may be availavle for land or naval radars but info about large scale production of X band for min version for fighter aircraft AESA is not available as of now.
May be next year but not 6 7 years back as mentioned. We are Ready to manufacture -astra microwave
Su30 will have Gan based radar there is no doubt it..
Raju 1982 read the page number 7, x band is clearly mentionedHere's DRDO's report about indigenous mfg of GaN based HEMT material :

I saw a podcast on Tejas where a air marshal said that Tejas fuel capacity is around 3 tons (around ) I think that's fits very well in this data of 7070kg empty weight , 9850kg clean with int. fuel , and 14.7 tons max. Int. Fuel could be around 2800kgNo.. that's the sun total of weights all hardpoints can support. But if loaded to that the aircraft will have to sacrifice significant amount to internal fuel to take off. Typically not all hot points are simultaneously carrying their max amount.
For example one outer hard-point of Tejas Mark1A can take to CCMs. Right now they take 1.
Wiki article may be incorrect on the present empty weight. Newer sheets have shown 7040kg.
MTOW is not usually the max. valued till which an aircraft has been tested (14.7t) but it may be updated to 14.5 ton in future.
It is 3000 litres, not 3tons. In weight it is 2450kgI saw a podcast on Tejas where a air marshal said that Tejas fuel capacity is around 3 tons (around ) I think that's fits very well in this data of 7070kg empty weight , 9850kg clean with int. fuel , and 14.7 tons max. Bruh I watched that podcast for you till 29:00It is 3000 litres, not 3tons. In weight it is 2450kg
Empty weight does not include radar and in some cases even onboard oxygen generator. So 7000 kg empty+ 2450 kg fuel+ 400 miscellaneous.I saw a podcast on Tejas where a air marshal said that Tejas fuel capacity is around 3 tons (around ) I think that's fits very well in this data of 7070kg empty weight , 9850kg clean with int. fuel , and 14.7 tons max. 4kg aviation fuel= 5 L , hence 3000 L internal is accurate, airmashall can have slip of tongue.
That's just your speculation definetely it's classified and I think this 2450kg number is not real they would never give real numbers.
He is a AIR MARSHAL!
And an Air Marshall will spit out the secret real number on random podcast ?That's just your speculation definetely it's classified and I think this 2450kg number is not real they would never give real numbers. He is air Marshall !
Then why didn't he spit out a number which is already in the public. which was given for media to publish Of 2450kg. He straight away said it's 3000kgAnd an Air Marshall will spit out real number on random podcast ?
He fumbled , he meant 3000 liters. It fits the bill 2400kg = 3000L.Then why didn't he spit out a number which is already in the public. which was given for media to publish Of 2450kg. He straight away said it's 3000kg
