No it isn't. Was already posted and proved to be shit.Radar Cross Section (RCS)

Guess somebody asked for RCS data. Might be legit.
Read somewhere that these guys have legit data. Can be wrong. No it isn't. Was already posted and proved to be shit.
Says MKI has 4m^2 RCS. Decide for yourself.Read somewhere that these guys have legit data. Can be wrong.
Is that too high??? composite component less, bigger size, old design set for maneuverability not stealth and with armaments can very well be the case. And anyhow these are data which they have. Its not necessary that these are exact performance and even latest.Says MKI has 4m^2 RCS. Decide for yourself.
Except su30mki, most of the data look like ok.Says MKI has 4m^2 RCS. Decide for yourself.
Great news by all accounts....
They're pushing it atleast... Now let's see wood the aerobatics continue to get more aggressive.Great news by all accounts....
Different missions require different requirements. In surgical-strike-like requirements, where you are attacking a high-value target while in the high-threat environment, is where you will look at stealth/standoff munitions. With all due respect ma'am, in 21st century, bombing missions are always performed with elements of surprise i.e an aircraft having less RCS. In future, role of heavyweight bombers will almost be eradicated as air defences are getting more and more modern.
Only if in an air superiority position, Sukhois will commence the bombing role. When the Su30s were designed, people followed conventional warfare. Now with tech changing everyday, roles of air forces are getting more and more challenging everyday.
Rafales are a recent addition to the arsenal, and strategy & tactics revolving around it will be developed in the meantime. Our primary strategy remains using Su-30MKIs as SEAD platforms and using either Jaguar/Mirage/Su-30MKI in DEAD operations. Not entirely certain with that. While it is a very capable aircraft, SU30s will mostly be providing air cover for Mirages/ Jaguars for this role. However Rafales will be the tip of the spear when it comes to DEAD/ SEAD missions. It is a far more capable aircraft than Su30s for this role. The point being the asset will be utilized as per its speciality. You don't use Virat Kohli for spearheading the bowling attack and Jasprit Bumrah as a top order batsman.
If Su-27 has an RCS of 10m2, then Su-30MKI should not exceed 11m2. The whole airframe is the same, except canards, which won't contribute more than 1m2 in itself.Except su30mki, most of the data look like ok.
I read su27 having 10m2 plus RCS and su30mki having 15m2 plus. Su35 having 3m2. Mig29 5m3 and similar to f16a.
Who is zend2midhun who is saying MK2 is stop gap, and will be produced only if AMCA is delayed.. Well first Tejas Mk2 will be rolling out next year..
We haven't not used it till now because we were not in hot war situation. In case of all-out war SU-30MKI will be our premier combat aircraft. Not used till now but can be used.
I have lost hope on HAL, most incompetent PSU after OFB. 4 years should’ve been the deadline, its been a decade of production and only half are delivered and this same organisation will produce LCA-AF-MK2, LCA-AF-MK1A, TEDBF, LIFT, CATS, AMCA and GHATAK UCAV.Guys what’s the latest update ? How many FOC are actually delivered by the babus in HAL to IAF ? If this slow pace continues kiss MWF or even mk1A goodbye (there is time bound delivery clause in MK1A contract). Feeling very frustrated....
What additional info about IAF tactical plans u have which allows u to make informed decision on that. It is in large number so can be used more. It has more carrying capacity so can carry more armaments. These are facts but it is also a fact that a package generally contains 1 or 2 air superiority and more interceptors or ground attack fighters. We haven't not used it till now because we were not in hot war situation. In case of all-out war SU-30MKI will be our premier combat aircraft.
