The last of the series produced aircraft SP-15 (LA-5015) flew for the first time last afternoon and will complete the routine production sorties by this week and after the customer acceptance sorties, she will join the Flying Daggers. Once SP-15 joins, the sqn will be in full strength. And from latest it says first foc in September.....hope it will happen soon..
If hal will be able to deliver 10 foc jets in 2019-20...

After being told that JF-17 is a Mig-29 and a SU-30MKI killer, pakis have been told now that Jhatu Fighter-17 can not face Tejas MK1 even in an Air Show.

Understandably they must be angry knowing the fact that what they were relishing as Halal, in reality, turned out to be a Pork Nalli-Nihari.

The two Prime Ministers will also speak at the Round Table meeting of the CEOs of Industries, who desire to invest in automobile and telecommunication sectors of Pakistan.

Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir’s visit would further cement the existing brotherly and friendly relations between the two countries. The focus of the interest is on enhancing economic, trade, investment, and defence ties, for the mutual benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

And during Bahrain Air Show 2016 JF-17 did not participate despite paying the fees because Bahrainian Prime Minster was visiting Pakistan.

A PM(civilian) being shown a demonstration in a home environment(for JF-17 being pakistan) is not the same as participating in an airshow in a different country against other light fighters where the military delegates of the said country will be exclusively evaluating the aircrafts in their own unique environment.

This is yet another example of pakis pussying out just like back in 2016 in the Bahrain Airshow.
Pakis definitely talk big & love proclaiming their own superiority, but in real life they get owned constantly, lie and deny martyrdom to their own pilots, that's just how shameless they are.

Hello, Had one question.... HAL has order of 20 IOC standard planes. So why stopping at SP-16 and not producing 4 more before starting 40 FOC standard. I understand that squadron can be formed with 16.

4 were trainers. But, there have been reports which state that trainers will be delivered in 1-2 years in FOC config only. That is why only 16 planes in IOC.

IAF should have extended the order for 4 more until FOC vaariant starts coming out!
That way no part line would sit idle for weeks, if not months, and they'd have enough combat worhty fighter strength in the squadrron (...!st few were trainers if i remember).

Foc variants...are in production.......
In different stages.....in jigs.........

But more foc variants is plausible......as mk1a is 3 years away
