They pulled out of Gaza in 2005 and thought Hamas is a better alternative than PLO/Fatah. There is no "de-radicalizing" a muslim ghetto anywhere in the world, let alone in Gaza! Israel should have de-populated Gaza in the 60s-90s when they could operate with impunity.

In other news Jpost is now reporting that IDF has taken control of part of the Egyptian crossing in Rafah. While i am no military expert, i wonder why did they not do it on Oct 8th itself knowing all of Hamas weapons are smuggled mostly through Egypt.
