If I remember correctly, India was the first to plan to replace these old destroyers with the Delhi class, but it has been delayed until now.
Delhi class has entered service long ago and these ships were to be reached retirement stage in next decade (2020s); to be replaced by Vizag class, Project-18 class and NG corvette class. They are somewhat old anyway but you most certainly had to google to tell that they are old.
