we dont have the dry dock capacity to meet the current expansion needs?Why is India outsourcing all the work to Kaliningrad? India has proven they can at least build the hull and fit it out with imports domestically.

The Govt is thinking about it. But the problem is lack of expertise among private ship builders in building warships.Maybe if GoI approved private yards there would be enough?
