Everyone needs to get ready for increased fuel prices over the coming weeks.

Seed funding should be used from the announced budget for animation and visual effect to create high quality animation for class 1 to class 12 students.
Teaching trough static diagram has become outdated.
Now animation, both interactive and non interactive should be used as learning aid.

This is need of the hour though . Specially for govt school aspirational lower middle class students . Platform like byjus spoon feeding rich students with slides , images , animations .. And govt school teacher pronouncing technology as teknokologi . Whts needed is a cheap robust water proof tablet which opens to only few required websites .

Where is inflation biting people?

1. House rent/EMI? No

2. Fuel - Yes but that's the only source GoI can exploit and make money.

3. Dry staples(rice, pulses, lentils) - No

4. Vegetables/Greens - Price went up only around October/Nov and is on a falling trend since January

5. Gas cylinder rates have gone up

6. Cooking/Edible oil. This was a super duper fuckup by the Govt where they banned/raised rates of palm oil without having a backup plan. Besides, India imports most of its edible oil(sunflower in particular) so Modi/GoI have little control over it other than reducing duty but even if they reduce import duty, will manufacturers/traders pass on the benefits to the public? Obviously no. They work as a cartel in India.

Where else do you find inflation that can be tamed by raising interest rates?

Which GST segment has seen a meteoric rise in rates that would topple household budgets? Can't find any tbh.

The mehengaai ka rona by a lot of RW folks doesn't add up.

The government has so far disbursed Rs 4,000 crore through a fund-of-funds that has gone to 361 startups in India, commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal said at the first National Startup Awards -- which also included accelerators and incubators.

looks like any sort of import regulation cannot exist outside of inflation pressures, ban was introduced when global palm oil prices were high and were reduced when their prices dropped. Govt cannot be adamant about import controls at the cost of inflation. public won't care about where their palm oil comes from as long as it's price won't rise.

I would happily go and stay in a tier 2 city ,if it has good educational institute ,good healthcare and a reasonable cost of living. Bigg showrooms ,expensive outlets ,big cars and homes with fancy interiors can be done away with ,but if we have satisfactory education and healthcare and a peaceful life it's more than enough . These can be made available in tier 2 and tier 3 cities if government spends on infrastructure ,health and education.

You forgot bikes being added to GST bracket of luxury bikes or footwear going from 6% slab to 12%.

There are many other examples.

As much as I want this to happen, I’m against this, I don’t want this creepy suburbs living culture in India, even though it won’t be as creepy as USA, but still. I don’t want UFO sighting and Sasquatch footprints everywhere…

The biggest issues in cities is the prices of real estate. Even though interest rates are low ,the price of houses have become unbelievable.

They should not have experimented with an indispensable staple like cooking/edible oil in the first place anticipating that farmers will switch to oilseeds within the country overnight and domestic production will replace imported oil within a year. It was a pretty stupid idea to start with, worse, it got widespread acceptance. Wonder what were they thinking..

This segment has hurt consumers the most, particularly from the EWS groups where a Rs. 70-90 rise even in palm oil started hurting them.

It was too little too late as international prices of oilseeds also rose due to various factors.
