Mumbai streets look pathetic and unaesthetic, they need a lot of redevelopment, and it’s not gonna happen after all, Dharavi redevelopment is stuck and won’t happen for the next 16 years as well.
Ya'll Nibbiars Dharavi is not Mumbai. The streets are much better now. Just you don't like the tiles colour doesn't mean it's pathetic. But your taste is not.Mumbai streets look pathetic and unaesthetic, they need a lot of redevelopment, and it’s not gonna happen after all, Dharavi redevelopment is stuck and won’t happen for the next 16 years as well.
Also Vietnam exports as much as we do. We need to get serious about rapidly growing our manufacturing exports.South korea a tiny country exports more than us no point looking at our neighbours
Most of the city is under construction now so roads are shortened and areas near railway stations are obviously congested and which Indian city is aesthetically pleasing?Mumbai streets look pathetic and unaesthetic, they need a lot of redevelopment, and it’s not gonna happen after all, Dharavi redevelopment is stuck and won’t happen for the next 16 years as well.
Ya'll Nibbairs even Bengaluru has become like any other city once the Green city of India is now is dismissal. Most of the city is under construction now so roads are shortened and areas near railway stations are obviously congested and which Indian city is aesthetically pleasing?
Actually solving these problems is the transition into an upper middle income economy which is not realistic before a time period of 10-15 years but is likely to reach there too in terms of improvement rates. China will become a developed country by then though while India will just be catching up with Latin America.Do you think in a country whose population still struggles with 19th century issues like water, sanitation, nutrition, basic healthcare will all of a sudden become a prosperous country in 15-20 years.
For That purpose DFC, Sagarmala and Roadmala are coming up as well as national logistic policy. Also Vietnam exports as much as we do. We need to get serious about rapidly growing our manufacturing exports.
Same as what happened to these projects in other countries. Simply not feasible. What happened to the hyperloop project in India?
Nope. Per capita real gdp or ppp gdp is what matters. Not nominal. At some point india will let rupee appreciate as exports led growth reaches its limits. When rupee appreciates nominal gdp increases. Happened with China as yuan appreciated against the dollar.I sorry what you just wrote is called "mungrilal ke haseen sapne".
lavish lifestyle Really ?
Do you think in a country whose population still struggles with 19th century issues like water, sanitation, nutrition, basic healthcare will all of a sudden become a prosperous country in 15-20 years. The kind of living standards that is prevalent over India can only be found in countries that form the bulk of the bottom 25% quartile. Therefore It would be a massive achievement even if we achieve a living standard anywhere closer to Mexico,Peru.
Becoming the 3rd largest economy is not an achievement especially when you have a continental size population. Being the elephant in the house is not an achievement when the rest of the competitors are pygmies. Ireland with the population of just 45 lakh can produce an economy of 500 billion USD which is bigger than Maharastra.
As for per capita income,According to Centre for Economics and Business Research,India will only manage to achieve a per capita income of $7,000 by 2035 and a GDP of just over 9 trillion.
Which means India will continue to remain below world average, almost 6 times poorer than China,2.5 times poorer than Turkey,Mexico and Vietnam.
I don’t see Bangalore becoming next Shenzhen, look at Bangalore it looks like an ordinary Indian city, not a planned city like Shenzhen which looks far advanced, I mean look it yourself mate. Also Vietnam exports as much as we do. We need to get serious about rapidly growing our manufacturing exports.
None, unfortunately! Most of the city is under construction now so roads are shortened and areas near railway stations are obviously congested and which Indian city is aesthetically pleasing?

Let me give u example of my village.Actually solving these problems is the transition into an upper middle income economy which is not realistic before a time period of 10-15 years but is likely to reach there too in terms of improvement rates. China will become a developed country by then though while India will just be catching up with Latin America
Being an upper middle income nation isn't an equivalent of being prosperous. And being a developed nation in league of US or Japan is a very long term dream for a lower-middle income nation like India. There is nothing extraordinary with projections. India will transit into an upper middle income country like Russia and China and the huge economy with a huge population will give it some political leverage.
Ya'll Nibbiars Many skyscraper after all it's a 5 acres plot.So this Dagdi chawl will be replaced by a Skyscraper?
