So does some of the best american and japanese giants , In a open free market in Automobile , Ford and GM winded up their business and Toyota is struggling where as Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai and now KIA is performing well . The open market brought more players from single player Maruti days and helped customers with more choices and better products also brought prices down .
Remember how closed market Bajaj Chetak used to rule and today Honda sells more scooters than all three next brands put together .
Please get out of this Lazy Latif culture , If you are having less than 1 acre of land you are never going to earn anything from that in a year , So why waste your efforts get skilled move out of farming and join industry or service . A security guard earns 12-14k a month easily , House keeping gets 10-12k a month for 8 hour job .
I come from a place which is neighbouring district of state capital , We have 12 acres of farm land , in school days when i used to go with my father when he visit on his leave we used to have lots of women and men comes to work in farms for daily wages for both planting and for harvesting apart from owning small farm land themselves . Few years down the line surrounding towns started having industries kaboom vanished all these people . Today we have to use harvesting tractor to cut paddy gets job done in 2 days and moves on , Earlier we need to put 20-30 farm labourers and still take 3-4 days to complete the harvest and if it rains in between we are screwed royally.
All farm labourers and farmers happily working in those factories and earning fixed monthly income now they realised the value of not wasting time in farming on unprofitable scale with those small land holding.
Most people around our farm already sold their lands and they have been converted into factories and warehouses . The kind of feeling given by few that farmers are gods without them you won't survive so please treat them like high value has only made farmers to exploit the other sections of society . The same farmer whom you cry when onion sells for Rs.2/kilo also nicely walks away with bumper when onion sells for Rs.60-70/kilo and shows a baba ji ka thulu in paying zero income tax even if he is making 1 crore and putting nice topi for both govt and also for the consumers .
Funny i get taxed 30 % on my salary , 10-15 % on my capital gains which i earn from the money for which i already paid tax. Goes to pay GST on every thing i eat and sip . I never cried please give me a minimum support salary in this pandemic, most of my friends already have 30-40 % salary cut and still making their lives with adjustments no one is saying govt should take care of my minimum living .
Let farmers taste how liberalisations works for them and then come back to cry for croony capitalism
Funny i pay Rs.140/litre for a milk buying directly from farmer who sells it because its desi cow and organic and Amul a corporate sells same milk for Rs.40-50/ Litre . Let them decide how they want to market their product which they produce .
In open competitive market most of the corporate or indian industries won't even survive.
