Looks like free Bus ride shafted the L&T Hyderabad Metro. Already L&T trying to leave the project but they are going to be screwed up due to additional mess.

Top of that SG is not helpful.

Thing with free bus, they will give the shittiest buses you ever see in the world. Even War torn countries like Syria, Iraq will have much better bus than whatever we have.
I reckon increasing non fare revenue may help, should plaster advertisements everywhere

mashallah someone in the finance ministry growing IQ. But this is still not enough. Our banks need to give cheap credit for medium-large scale companies to set up export oriented large scale factories. In chinkland, a substantial portion of new factories are funded entirely through debt from PSU banks and local government grants and equity. In india it is the reversed. Most companies fund expansions through internal accruals, which is why you see 1000 crore revenue company only having ~50-100 crore capex each year.

he should be the last person to say this, given how he handled innovation in such a unstructured manner in his own organisation. while his body shopping business model brought in dollars which is welcome, it moved the country away from innovation model which the country is finding difficult to reset.

Indians are good at applying ideas and concepts generated elsewhere and becoming experts; it will take time to invent new things, said Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy.

Buses are supposed to e feeder to metro and not duplicate. This means route planning is shit. In developed countries buses are meant to take you to metro.

Foor eg : Buses stop every 0.5 kms are metro every 3 km, so if you have to travel 17 km, you will travel 2km on bus to nearest metro station and then take metro for 15 km.

Central and state government should acquire by any means a 100 hectare land parcel and build a giant shoe factory where labourers can be hired and fired with 1 month notice, and given a salary of at least 10k inr and free meals and transport. They can build some dormitory as well for migrants. Such a factory can employ 20-50000 people and transform a district.

This hongkong/chinese company proposed and even laid foundation stone for a massive shoe SEZ 2 years back, but since that dumbass Jagan is in power, most of these are remaining on paper (he likely scared them away)

This same company or its subsidiary has a large footwear factory in Sri city Andhra as well, currently employing over 10000 workers and seem to be doubling in size.

Taiwan companies are starting to set up large scale footwear factories in Tamil nadu. Biharis should stop whining and daydreaming about semiconductors and car factories and instead do whatever it takes to build these plants in Bihar

Biharis vote for chara-chor party or nitish party so they don't even get shoe factories

Any word as to who was behind Adani Short selling attack in 2023?

My guess is that it was Soros who got cue from Rahul Gandhi. Soros is a family friend of Nehru family.

And the Chinese also never tells you, how much in debt are they? The Chinese system works like, keep export numbers up, so that cheap loans can be given by CCP, CCP takes loans or FDIs in the hope that exports will keep up, so subsidies to manufacturers, and again then hope, this is not good, the cycle though breaks when Evergreen type happens and then the scare.

The cycle that China is following, it needs markets, same for southeast asia too. The markets though can always choose their tarrifs or self made situation, that's why so much hate for Trump.

When in today's world everyone is moving towards self made products, this type of abysmal performance is the sign of wait and watch.

Although in India case this wait and watch over extends itself thanks to babudom lethargy and China, USA, Korea types takes lead and Indians then start talking where they went wrong.

Land plus transport plus 24x7 electricity needs to be guaranteed with a stable law and order and officials who won't take bribes every time your product is transported. Can Bihar guarantee these things. Genuinely curious I have never been there

Yes their investments are in the myriad of hidden debt through hundreds of subsidiaries and investment companies. When investments go bad, they can always order their state owned profitable companies to bail out the bad actor due to their centrally planned economy. But nonetheless this model has clearly worked for them and is very similar to how Japanese led an investment-led economy during their boom days. India did partially follow this for a small period under UPA-1. Our investment % of GDP peaked during this period. However corruption in India was too much, causing a large amount of those investments to go bust as their investments were either outright scams or into unproductive sectors. Second UPA did nothing to protect the local industry from chinese dumping in the early 2010s. A substantial amount of mining/steel companies got decimated due to collapsing costs and high interest rate of their debts. Third, India did not have the infrastructure to even export the capacity as this was in the glory days of octrois -> even a 200km interstate journey used to take 10+h and our ports were in terrible state back then.

Shifting your economy to an investment led one like chinkus or the Japs and Taiwanese and koreans before them require lots of things to go right and a laser sharp government who is focused on solely 1 goal. Policy paralysis, chai-biskoot babus will derail the momentum and very quickly cause an NPA crisis like we saw 10 years ago.

The Americans.
They wanted leverage over Adani which they have now.
It is a US firm that purchased his stonks after the lemmings shat their pants and dumped them after hindenburg

What you have mentioned is literally the anti-bihar. :bplease:

What about under future PM yogiji? 0 such factories have come up in UP too which many here claim to be the next supapowa state in the country.
Doesn't matter who is PM, Biharis vote for clowns in their state and till they do so it will remain a shithole.
Biharis vote on the basis of kaun jaat ba? and how many gormint jobs they will get and so they get the relevant politcians to rule over them.

Nitish could have done a lot of things but he sits on his ass and gets his massive ego hurt over microscopic slights which then cause him to change alliances.

Don't know about UP :truestory:
