Thanks you for this. I am aware. I typically allocated my yearly bonus into these Y o Y . This have left me with a good diversified portfolio. I picked these during covid via a friend and since than have invested a bit with primary motivation being marriage of kiddos and my niece...

Best part is that i can convert it to pure 24 K gold bars at designated RBI Offices if needed.

Yet to redeem any of invested as i started bit late .... but i entered when gold was at 5100 +- Levels some 3 years back in 2020..

talking of absolute, returns , I just redeemed my units in mirae blue chip for almost 135% returns in 6 years..SIP ended in 2017-18 and redeemed in this market rally to pay for my home loan

I remember, i was in tanishq showroom when a lady bought in 50G gold coin... the showroom guys started melting it. Off curiosity, i asked them for reason and they said.. even swiss gold have impurities and voila.. that 50 G bar had 3 G impurities... which means she lost 15k approx ( assuming 50000 / 10G ) rate...this is all held by RBI in it's chest ...
